This Junior player born in 1988 is certainly one of the most talented of her generation, along with Maria Sharapova. Training with N. Bolitieri, Tatiana is French with Russian origins ...
Will she go far in Cagnes ? She has to face Nuria in first round...
Go on Tatiana !
BTW, Cagnes' website is www.opendecagnes.com

Tatiana has won her first match 4:4, after Nuria retired.
I think she might reach the semis beating Amandine and Roberta next... But will she beat Emilie or Marion  in the semi ?
Suspense... but French Women tennis is going well !

Tatiana playing tomorrow !
I can t wait for her to win - even if Amandine needs some results... What a horrible dilemma !

Udachi Tatiana! :bounce: Tatiana's father, Gregori, played hockey for the Soviet National team. So she has excellent bloodlines for athletics! :)

Thanks Josh! :wavey: That's okay for her first pro event. Tatiana Golovin is only 14 afterall. But I hope Tatiana learns to put her opponents away when she has the chance. Last year she let several matches against top juniors slip away from her.
Udachi Tatiana! :D

... even though she was able to worry top seed Svet in the second set round 16 of the Australian Open...
Svet won 6:1 7:6 if I remember well.
... even though she improves really quickly.
... yet it is UNACCEPTABLE to lose against Amandine... (Sorry Amy) but she was apparently very nervous (cf the website photographs)
I think she might get (and wisely refuse) a Wild Card for RG quallies !
But she will definitely win RG Junior event - with some luck . GO TATIANA.
