hmm, Maria and Do-Re-Mi are my favorites but I went with Do-Re-Mi because it has the kids in it. :D

I think Edelweiss is really beautiful, but my favourite has to be Climb Every Mountain.

I had to vote for the Lonely Goatherd, since I was sure it would be the only vote!! And I find already two others have... ha ha ha.

This is my fav musical. All the songs are great but my fav song is Do-Re-Mi closely followed by Climb every mountain.

I just read that the melody of the title song, The Sound of Music, is actually taken from Wagner's Tannhäuser. I'm not very familiar with that opera, so I can't comment... but it's interesting if it's true.
