maria trained twice on saturday
her second training was after melzer's one...as melzer was talking to his coach she had to wait to have the seat but she saw the chair next to jurgen and here she has been so funny!
she walked like in a cartoon when they try to be unseen, she almost tiptoes

She was very concentrated, she made some good shots, very powerful. She seems good. There are a lot of people who come to see this match just for Maria (you guess :-). The Italian was good too but she made a lot of direct mistakes.

Nice to hear she was concentrated. She seems to be taking the positives from the Sugiyama match.

I saw makiri practice yesterday (I love the outfit she was wearing! you'll it I'll post my pix and I'll try to do it quickly)
I like her but she played so badly at the practice...I thought "if she plays like this during her match she has no chance to win it! even if anna played well!" so I wasn't surprised by the lost...
during the practice she tried to hit the ball strongly but everytime it was out (realy out...something like 10 cm!!) or in the let
after she heard that nadal was on the court, her father wanted her to hit some ball but she turn her back and listen what they was saying on the microphone
finaly she hit some ball but was more interested in the scoreboard and it was the end of her practice at 3/0 for nadal
I say she was looking for rafa's score because before they said rafa was on the court she was concentrated and didn't watch the score board at all...so I guess she was looking for his result
she has been realy nice, took a picture with me (yeah! I have it!!! finaly!!!)
after she left and a guy run calling her "maria maria!!" she came back and signed something for him then she left but he called her back because he wanted to take her in picture
she came back and posed but the camera didn't work so she waitted, smiling during one minute without moving...so nice!

that's all I have to report

I didn't went to see her match but she playing in the same time that likhovtseva and I do prefer likho so...

Thanks Cindy! Sometimes her practice session pics are much better than her match play ones. Now I believe she should always dress in bright colors. Don't know about the Nadal shorts, though. =)

Absolutely stunning. I wonder what the rest of the photo shoot looked like. =) Ana I had a great shot as well. These two blow away the rest of the group in this article, and probably the rest of the WTA for that matter. They did finish #1 and #2 in the Tennis Channel vote for Hottest Female Tennis Player.

That was something I really noticed when I went. Her serve seem very solid. She was definatley playing much better at Acura than I'd seen before :D
