Welcome to Kolkata! Here we will have an event in a country that has become tennis crazy after Sania Mirza's successes. This week promises to be a week packed with PYW action, as Beijing and Portoroz also hold WTA events, and the cities of Albuquerque and Jounieh play host to an ITF event. Don't forget to vote for these events as soon as you can!

At first sight, you'd think the main draw of Kolkata is more a qualifying draw. When looking closer, you realise it isn't. Why? Perhaps of the overwhelming appearance of world number 5 Anastasia Myskina. The Russian starlet has reached the semifinals, as expected.

The Croation hardhitter Karolina Sprem enjoyed a perfect tournament at San Diego this summer, untill she got to the final, where she was sent back by two-time Grand Slam Champion Kim Clijsters. She is looking to get to her second final of the year, facing off against Russian Elena Likhovtseva.
So VOTE! for the ones you want to see in the FINALS!
Semifinals:
Anastasia Myskina RUS [1] v. Kaia Kanepi EST
Karolina Sprem CRO [7] v. Elena Likhovtseva RUS [2]
