Ayu's Long Winning Streak Has Ended...if Ayu Could Get More Than 4 Games Against Li, It Is A Surprise Indeed For Me!!! Let's Hope, By Playing In Her Own Playground, Ayu Gets Really Motivated...

Claire Curran has played singles here the last two years. She's a doubles specialist. It should be GBR beside her name. She's from Northern Ireland and now plays for Great Britain after playing the majority of her career for Ireland. In Northern Ireland you can play for either Ireland or Great Britain if you're good enough.

Is this the tournament that usually grants Qualy WC to doubles specialists? There was some tournament in Asia last year where Jans, Rosolska, Curran, etc. all got WC.

It's because there were no other player that turned up for sign-ins. They automatically receive WCs since they didn't enter the tourney initially. Had they done so, they wouldn't have needed the WCs.
