I didn't do extensive research, but I don't believe so. If this is true, Myskina & Sveta are in line to make history. I have faith that one of them can do it. And Capriati came awfully close in 2003, she definitely played 12-13 events before New Haven, and as we know, she won the title as Mauresmo and Davenport retired in SF and F.
