Safina is in a way closer to the older girls.
she won her first title in 02, and aleady won a TierII title as well.
she has a great doubles career as well going underway and is well esteblished in the tour.
the others were fast risers last year and this one.
but if i must - i think Safina has the biggest game among them.

I'm impressed with Dinara, Evgenia and Anna C. Although this year seems up and down for Safina and she hasn't quite come through the way I thought she would, but she seems good. :)

There was one of these threads ages ago and I was one of the few who said Tchakvetadze, now she is doing well lots of ppl are saying her. That always happens with these threads ;)

Maybe thats because many of us hadn't seen Anna C. back then. I've still only seen her a few times.:)

No offense but hasn't Safina been stagnant for the last few years? She's never broken through and has had a helluva whole lot of time. I will be completely biased and go with Kirilenko. Which one was the one that stretched Sharapova at RG with those heavy topspin shots? A lil' chubby? I think that was Linetskaya, and if so, her game was really impressive, a lot of weight on her groundstrokes.

as i said right from the start, evgenia is the biggest talent in a long time for me,and i stand to that!i only hope, that this private "interruption" has not had done too much damage to her career, but if she gets away well with it,the sky is the limit.why?because she has a brain,is incredibly fast, very good serve, physically very fit...so,if all goes well, she will be up with the best!and anna c of course, shes very good, only needs better nerves..

I love Linetskaya too. She's a great competitor. But I think Chakvetadze is a very good competitor too, plus Anna is the most talented athlete of this group. My vote goes to Anna C. She could be the next Hingis.

I support my call once more as time passes by - Safina.
she's so much more consistent on the different surfaces.
