1. It does not matter for you, she has done everything what could.
2. You strike the head against the wall till bleeding.
3. You wanted to have the telephone number of her for advice her somethings.
4. Reflecting what happened.
5. To put more posts to support her since then.
6. Other reaction. Put yours...

I prob get mad and go play tennis to take out my anger. Usually ending with me losing because I hit the ball way out everytime getting all the frustration out.

Ehm...I cried when Jen lost to Stevenson in 2002 at Filderstadt because it was the third straight time I had tickets to see her but she always lost one match before.. it was terrible and I was pissed for two days...

When Jen was beaten by Weingartner, I was sure that something was wrong, because Weingartner does not have any weapons to hurt Jen when Jen is injury-free...so, I cannot really descripe my feelings there, dissapointment of course, but not as big as in 2002...

Well considering this happened to me at the French Open this year, I pretty much know how I would react. I would be pretty upset and angry that the evil tennis gods gave her such a cruel draw, even if it wasn't really that bad.

I would lose a lot of interest in the tournament and would put all my efforts in to supporting the players that my favorite is friends with, if they get beat then I am very unhappy.

I will also, say that I am not watching this tournament anymore! But end up watching it anyways because I love tennis.

I've grown accustomed to expecting my fave to lose in R1. I'm just hoping she holds serve 1 or 2 times per set. Well, that's probably too high of a goal.

I'd put all my energy behind every player that faces the person that beat my fave until they lose or I run out of energy.

I chose option 1 but if Venus, Serena, Kimmie, and Lindsay all lost 1st Rd  i think i will stop watching tennis until next year  Seriously, i have a lot of players to cheer other than them, even if it comes down to a Sharapova vs. Justine Final :tape: I will cheer for one of them but don't know who yet

Sharapova vs. Justine Final wouldn't be too bad a final.

Venus loss to Barbara shitSchette at RG 2001 caused a boyfriend to break up with me  I was visiting Pittsburgh that holiday weekend and was in such a horrible mood. Anyway, I've learned not to take her losses so seriously --- these days I simply look forward to the next slam/tournament.

Golovin: I'm expecting a first round loss  (but hoping for better)

Completely agree.

I'll be gutted if my favourites lose. But i'll be so "proud" (not the right word) of venus because she still proved herself at wimbledon. For mauresmo - well she hasn't been playing that great, so i will hope she just goes and finds her A game somehow, to comeback strong at the AO.

I'm scared it could happen, but i hope it won't. I'll be so happy if they get through though.

Should the worst happen - see quote.

I (and this is based on my experience) would:

1. Scream things like "WTF are you doing Lena!" at my TV screen or computer monitor throughout the match.

2. Become depressed.

3. Wonder why I couldn't be a fan of somebody who wins GS now and then.

4. Try for a split second to love Kim or Justine or Venus or Linds as much as I love Lena.

5. Realize there is no alternative to Lena (not even Nastya, and it's not like she's a choice for mental peace and stability either)

6. Wish I could just give her a big hug to say its okay.

7. Go on WTA world and post doom and gloom prophesies about Lena's somewhat (IMHO) bizarre relationship with Mommy Vera and how it affects her game.

8. Get jumped on by fellow Lena fans for being so negative.

9. Sulk until bedtime or a deadline looms.

10. Spend hours convincing self that Lena has a chance to win at next grand slam

11. Within 24 hours again be completely besotted with Lena and look forward to the next tournament

12. Root for Myskina if she's still in tournament. If Myskina's also out, root for Venus. If Venus is out, lose interest in tournament and decide its actually the least important of the GS.

13. Again start referring to Lena as "Golden Goddess" within 48 hours of loss.

14. Wait until next GS, write confrontation threads about Lena's awful serve and weird relationship with Mommy Vera but secretly expect her to win it all.

Actually, that's my reaction whether Lena loses in the first round or in the finals.
