Rogers Cup Entry List Update

TORONTO (TC) – Tennis Canada announced today that Sony Ericsson WTA Tour World No. 19 ANA IVANOVIC withdrew from the 2005 Rogers Cup presented by American Express.

Ivanovic is suffering from a strained right pectoral muscle.

Ivanovic was scheduled to play a 3rd round match with World No. 8 Kim Clijsters Thursday.

Oh yay. US Open should be great...

This injury thing on the WTA tour is getting to be completely absurd
