She's already beaten Sveta, and Gisela has many weapons, she is excellent at net and has much variety, but has a forehand of amazing depth and precision that can rally with any forehand out there, and she has a hard and heavy serve that wins her many free points. :drool:

By not playing this week, Shuai guaranteed that she cannot be seeded in the Open without a withdrawal or two. She got to the quarters? (maybe only 2r) or Cincinatti, and those points are coming off, so she was only #33 in safe points before the players below her started winning matches this week.

I don't know why anyone's surprised, I love Tati and think she's the more talented player but she's been in a slump for ages now, and Gise is also fantastic and quite the upset artist. I'm more shocked that Tati won a set in her current form, actually.
