Yes, GOOD LUCK to Mary and Mahesh! I think this one is trickier than either of the potential final pairings, but Lisa Raymond seems to be out of form in doubles as well as singles, so I feel hopeful.

I really dislike both Jonas and Lisa... so if Mary wins it will be extra sweet for me.

If she loses... :crying2:

But she won't ;)

ALLEZ MARY! Win the title!

I think that will do it. It is a great showing as they have never played togehter.

So if they win both teams in the final will have played two games in one day.

GO MARY and Mahesh !!!!!!!!!!

Both Jonas and Lisa are excellent double-players...so this one will probably very difficult. But hey, they beat the second seeds so why not the third seeds?

It would round off a fantastic couple of months if she could get the title! Brilliant!

The BBC has an interactive package which means you can chose from 4 or 5 matches to watch at once. But I'm sure BBC1 will also show it after the men's final - they always show the doubles finals.

Match ReportsBhupathi/Pierce Reach FinalSunday, July 3, 2005

Doubles master Mahesh Bhupathi from India and his latest partner, the elegant yet powerful Mary Pierce, reached the mixed doubles final with an exceptional performance, outplaying the tough No. 3 seeds, Jonas Bjorkman and Lisa Raymond, 7-5, 6-1.

The unseeded pair proved that they were a force to be reckoned with by patiently keeping their service games solid and trying to make Bjorkman and Raymond play as many points as possible on their service games.

The first breakthrough came on Bhupathi's serve. Bjorkman led the attack at 4-4 to go ahead, with the Swede needing to serve for the set. But the power of Pierce combined with the craft of Bhupathi engineered a double break either side of Pierce's solid serve to steal the set 7-5.

The third seeds were outplayed in the second set. They were unable to attack and were constantly chasing the ball around the court in vain. Raymond struggled to compete as she watched volley winners sail past her and Bjorkman. Their opponents piled on the pressure and claimed the set 6-1.
