Družstvo Slovenska v Pohári federácie odlieta 3. júla do Thajska na stretnutie play off o udržanie sa v II. svetovej skupine súťaže. Jednotkou tímu kapitána Mariána Vajdu je skúsená Henrieta Nagyová, dvojkou Ľubomíra Kurhajcová a kvareto doplnia debutujúce juniorky Magdaléna Rybáriková a Dominika Cibulková. Na snímkach sú Henrieta Nagyová a Ľubomíra Kurhajcová v rozhovore s médiami pred piatkovým tréningom v NTC.

Stretnutie sa uskutoční v meste Pathum Thani, 30 km od hlavného mesta, v areáli Bangkok Univesity. Hrať sa bude na tvrdom povrchu plaxipave s loptičkami Wilson US Open. Hľadisko štadióna má kapacitu 1600 miest, vstup je voľný. V termíne stretnutia býva priemerná teplota v dejisku 35 stupňov Celzia. V sobotu 9. júla sa stretnutie začína o 11.15 miestneho času (6.15 SELČ), v nedeľu je začiatok o 10.00 h.
Uzávierka nominácie tímov je 29. júna.

They made LIVE SCORE in World Group play-offs THA vs CRO in Phuket in April. I'm not sure if the ITF will do on Saturday. Forgot to ask them.
