The BBC commentary team and fans alike have commented on how overweight and out of condition Serena is. It’s estimated she’s at least 20lbs overweight. What does she need to do to get into shape? And has the weight gain been a contributory factor due to supposedly fractured ankle?

When i was about 10 i was quite heavy and i always had problems with my ankle. I was told to lose some weight to make my ankle better (thats when i tok up tennis coz i liked rakcet sports). And after losing maybe half a stone i felt differences in my ankle. So yeah, if her body isnt use to the extra weight it would help her
