I don't know maybe it's me, but Mary lost her american accent, !! it seems to me that we can barely hear it now.

Okay there are some words we can say she has an accent but I'm sure she almost lost it.

I'm very impressed by the way she talks, well one year in Paris and this is the result !!!

What do you think guys !!!

Hi Saby, I have to agree, if I did not know it was Mary, you would not have thought that the person has been in the USA for so long.

She sounds so French and it is great.

 yeah that's funny because before reading what you said i just heard her interview and i thought and had the same feeling then you ! It is a fact when you listen to her nowadays her "american" accent is really lighter now :p

Mary :hearts: good luck for the next round, i know that you (and we !) have to take it match by match but like a lot of people i am thinking to the quarter yet :lick:

Whatever happens she really came back at the top now, her marvellous run to RG was'nt "feu de paille" like we say in french and i think that the rest of the season 2005 will be very interesting for us :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

That is in this moment that i realize that we were so right to believe in Mary's talent whatever the disapointing moments in the recent past.....Mary can be very proud of herself as we are sooooooooooo proud and sooooooooooooo happy :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: me too i feel like "an eagle......"

My friend studied French and always spoke it with a major American accent, but then she went to France for two years to study more and she says that no one can tell she is American.

Her last name is French and she looks French, which helps ;)

I totally agree and that's exactly what I thought when I listened to the interview last night. Mary's French is now very fluent... it's impressive and a pleasure to listen to.

Ya, it's very cool. I love French language even though I don't speak it too fluently. ;) But I also hope that Mary won't speak English with French accent. Sorry but I don't like it. :p

I don't think she speaks english with a french accent (I hope for her) !! LOL
I heard her yesterday during the match and it was a perfect and respectful english toward the referee...who didn't see the ball was OUT !!!!!

Seriously I'm very proud of the progress she did, now she just have to pay attention to some feminins and pluriels and she will have a perfect french...respect

Me too!

Btw, I've heard in today's CNN's World Sport a short interview with Mary. Of course in English, and of course without French accent luckily! ;)
