There is that great picture between Venus and J2H from Hamburg 2001 I posted before. What a huge difference in size! Well, their record indicates that size doesn't seem to be everything ...

i think there was an error w/ cho's height. i saw her play at a tournament once and she is very tall!

if we're naming players, tatiana panova is only 5' i think.

Sarah Pitkowski, anyone?

Don't remember exactly how short she was, but I saw her play against Pierce once*, and it looked like she'd escaped from the 10-and-unders.

Tatiana Panova

Fantastic

Virginia Ruano Pascual : 5' 3" (Claims to be 5' 6" but Paola Suarez is 5' 7" and was at least 10cm taller than her. I am 5' 5" and when I stood next to Virginia she was much shorter than me.)

Amanda Coetzer : 5' 2"
Sarah Pitkowski : 5' 2"
Tatiana Panova : 5' 1"
Nuria Llagostera : 5' 0"

I'm going with Panova as the shortest. Coetzer was short, but even she towered over Panova, lol.

The South African Sue Rollinson, from the early eighties, was exactly five feet, no inches. She was the smallest I've ever seen. Her compatriot Yvonne Vermaak, Wimbledon Semi-Finalist in 1983, was just 5' 1 1/2".

Sarah Pitkowski, anyone?

Well I remember a funny situation with her.She was playing against Serena in 2001 in FO and she was arguing with the umpire because in her (Sarah's) opinin Serena's shot was wide. Serena wasn't even listening to that argument. She was just looking at her finger nails
