 Yes we will.

I was wondering what was propping her ranking up before I realized it was her 4th round here and then the final showing in Bali. All she's been doing is losing since then.

Actually many players will drop very LOW after RG, challengers will welcome a lot of former top-100 players

Sally can always get her on doing a gig for ICS or Save the Children. I think a German girl in her 20's is just the sidekick Sally needs.

I still remember her lovely win over Capriati at the AO ;) , Marlene caused one of the only 3 losses in the Open era that a defending champion lost in the 1st round of a Slam.

so sad to see her going down

Well, Marlene has two good tournaments a year (2004 French Open and Bali), which keeps her in the Top 100...she's just so inconsistant...

OMG another player being in a deep slump.

PS: So Marlene Weingärtner is in the same situation as Claudine Schaul by losing half of her points in one tournament and falling down from Top 80 to around 150. :o

Floating like a butterfly is worthless unless you can sting like a bee as well.

underweight and overexpectant.
maybe this will shock her into playing properly.
