Who will be the worst player of Roland Garros 2005?
This player will be the only one to lose in the 1st round against someone who then loses in the 2nd round against someone who then loses in the 3rd round ... and so on until the final. :)

Example: Tiffany Welford, winner of the 2005 Australian Open Wooden Spoon Award. She really deserved the title because losing against an almost-retired Schett is a pretty good achievement. :yeah:

1st round: Schett def. Welford
2nd round: Hantuchova def. Schett
3rd round: Dementieva def. Hantuchova
4th round: Schnyder def. Dementieva
QF: Dechy def. Schnyder
SF: Davenport def. Dechy
F: S. Williams def. Davenport

And here are the winners of the last 5 French Opens:

RG 2004: Mara Santangelo
RG 2003: Bahia Mouhtassine
RG 2002: Stephanie Foretz
RG 2001: Lisa Raymond
RG 2000: Barbara Schwartz

So who will be the lucky one here? Have a look at the draw and pick your fave! :D

Tati Panova's lookin' good for the title. Ever since she was belted 2 years ago to 47yo Martina Navratilova, I knew she had the skill level to win this coveted award!
R1 Fernandez def Panova
R2 Razzano def Fernandez

FedererFan84
May 31st, 2005, 05:24 PM
It can't be Cohen Aloro because Pierce d Davenport
It can't be Camerin because Likhovtseva d Karatantcheva

It can only be these four women. Here are the possibilities:

It will be Chladkova IF Likhovtseva def Pierce and Likhovtseva loses in the final
It will be Shaughnessy IF Pierce def Likhovtseva and Pierce loses in the final
It will be Jankovic IF Henin-Hardenne def Petrova
and Henin-Hardenne loses in the final
It will be Talaja IF Petrova def Henin-Hardenne and Petrova loses in the final
