Rovas played really well in the second set..and Xavier was a lil irritated. But last set he served well and won easily.
It was so funny seeing Xavier smile on each point he made/ruined at the end..he was just having fun..lol

Economidis (can't get enough of that name :D) looked fine but he was too inconsistent in the rallies to threaten Olivier.

(btw did anyone else see Xavier put on someone's glasses during Olivier's match? He looked so cute with those! :drool: )

I always kinda wondered what it exactly was that made me like Olivier just that bit better than his brother, but when the commentators compared the two of them they were just so right: he's just that bit more playful, seems to have more fun, a more creative game, it all looks a bit nicer and... he has that special look in his eyes and a cute smile! :)

Good luck to Gilles/Tom tomorrow! I hope Gilles ca win his first (as far as I know) Daviscupmatch! When he had some good results on grass last year he really seemed a funny guy in his interview, it would be good for him to get some experience here!

I was out yesterday so I missed both matches... I'm really looking forward to see Economidis' huge serve! I read that he could hit his 2nd serve at more than 190km/h :eek::eek::eek:

indeed, it was very funny! Sometimes a first serve at 160 and a second at 195!!! Very strange! But also effective. He didn't hit much double faults. Ande sometimes serves played cross with a lot of effect on it, he hit at over 180!

But the guy can't hit a ball in the court! He only has his serve. Once the return of Olli fell inside the court, you could be sure the point was his

BTW in case anyone is interested (which I doubt ;)) Tasos Vasiliades was born and raised in Australia and used to play for Aus. He changed citizenship to his parents native Greece some years ago when he felt tennis australis wasnt supporting him enough...he never was gonna be a great player anyway :o

The commentators told that story about Vasiliadis, Terry. They even said that he told them that his English is better than his Greek. lol
