Bad news: Claudine Schaul is injured; back and neck problems! :bigcry: :scared: :bigcry:

But most likely she will play (or try to play) but we have no chances to win against the Netherlands! :o

We have definitely no luck in fed cup: 2001 Anne Kremer injured at the beginning, 2003 Fed Cup team without injured Anne Kremer and Claudine Schaul and relegated to zone II, 2005 Claudine Schaul injured!

Anne :fiery: :help:  :help: :tape:

Why don't they give Mandy a chance? She is in great form and would have realized a better result for sure! :o

Hope Mandy will play against Krajicek now and take revenge for the out in Lux quali (the match with the 7 matchballs :tape: ), because Claudine should concentrate to recover for WTA tour instead of risking alot. :o

Poor Anne! I don't know what is wrong with her. After all, Elise Tamaela is only 171 in the world! :fiery: :o Perhaps a break is the only solution for her!

Krajicke must play Schaul, becasue Minella is ranked behind Kremer and it would be agaist the rukes if a lower-ranked player would face the No. 1 player of the other team.

I was really shocked when Schulz was playing, because there was no need to (Tamaela was in a good shape).
I think the coach though that she would have a week opponent, ranked 800+, so that it would be a good time to let Schultz play again. She obviously performed well in the doubles match the day before.
Could have been a huge mistake if Holland would have lost the tie, then Sweden would have been first in the poule. Now it can be considered a usefull experiment. But since Tamaela played today and won, it won't happen again, I guess.

Since Netherlands beat Luxemburg 3-0:
if Poland beats Sweden 3-0, Poland will be 2nd; Luxemburg en Sweden will have the same score in matches, so then you would have to count the sets to find out.

What a disastrous Fed Cup 2005 for the Luxembourgish team. With the players we have promotion should have been a certainty... now we will be lucky to escape relegation. The timing was bad for our players and maybe the tactics were wrong too... let's hope next year is more successful. Hopefullly one day Luxembourg will play in the World Group.
