i am trying to find out what the difference is between green clay and red clay.

have done a surf on google and all i could find was a statement from hingis saying she thought the "green clay was a touch faster than the red" , she did not elaborate.

what do you guys know about this surface? is the only difference that green clay is a bit faster than red clay?

thanks.

Red clay is made from crushed bricks, while green clay is made from like crushed stones and stuff. Green clay is generally a little faster and easier to slide on.

yeah, on green clay, it's a bit faster, and bounds higher with dry weather, but lower and even slower on wet weather.

when i played on red clay after green clay in florida... i felt red clay is more like hard court with sliding than green clay...

in america (esp. in south/northeast), there r lots of green clay...
