First Contact, by a long long way... The Borg are amazing. Resistance is futile.

You as a WTA team-member put that one in GM?;)

Uh...if the poll ever comes up: First Contact. I just love the Borg, they are the coolest, pretty intersting social life they have, lol.

Yes, I admit it, I really liked ST TNG and Voyager...especially the weird Brannon Braga episode, but that doesn´t mean that I run around with Spock-ears;)

I have the feeling that this thread will make a lot of people say:"Uhhh...you ugly trekkies!". Truth is: Science-Fiction (not fantasy!) is the most sophisticated genre in movies. They are not about aliens, dead people or horror-scenes (ID4, Armageddon, Deep Impact are not Sci-Fi). It´s about criticism on society, nature, humanity, politics and religion. See 1984, Gattaca, Contact, A Clockwork Orange or Star Trek... ;)

Oh my, lol :retard: :o

Why do ask in the first place if you´re opinion is set? So, when you tell the other posters what to vote for, you will get your favourite answer. Quick!

Good good. First contact is winning. As it should be. Just can't beat those Borg.

it's a push between 'the voyage home' and 'the undiscovered country.'

love "the next generation", but the original series had the best movies.

too bad they'll never make features for "deep space nine."

First Contact by far. :)

It is an awesome combination of the "past" and the "presence" (if you see it from their perspective).

First Contact because the Borg are cool.

Generations and Insurrection were awful.

I quite enjoyed Nemesis - although Data  - and I watched all the others when I was young and can't really remember them.

2, 4, and 6 are the best IMO, can't choose, really--

But the single best line in any of them is easy:

(Spock and Kirk discover the Vulcan played by Cattrall[StarTrek 6] sneaking in to do them violence and Spock tells her, 'if you are logical, you must shoot.' She replies that she does not want to shoot, leading to the best line)

Spock: "What you want is irrelevant! What you have chosen is at hand!"

Great stuff, great actor.

I know!

But have you read any of the post-tv series books? They're quite good, and I love Kira being in command.

First Contact, simply cos of the Borg

I also really enjoy the Wrath of Khan, Undiscovered Country and the one that I always call the "whale one" (Voyage Home ;) )
