Can someone please tell me why Maria had to qualify for this tournment when there are players with lower rankings then her who got directly in :confused:

Kim did not even have to get a WC and got in on her ranking

Entry lists for tournaments are based on the ranking 6 weeks prior to the start of the main draw. Maria was 105 in January, that`s why she has too play Q.
