View Full Version : Movies That You Watch Repeatedly

I had a kick a few years ago where I watched 'Bullets Over Broadway' about 25 times in 30 days. It made me laugh, and so I watched it daily to get my fix. I still have it all memorized.

In January, I 'found' a copy of 'Million Dollar Baby' that I watched everyday for about a month.

Lately, I've watched 'Monster' with Oscar winner Charlize Theron at least once (last night was twice, and today twice) each day for the past 14 days. I have all the dialogue memorized and have even watched the documentary and compared Charlize to the real Aileen. Her movements and speach and body positioning is so dead on to Aileen... it's very uncanny.

Yes, I seem to have that much time on my hands. I just usually watch movies when I go to bed or am bored and 'Monster' has been my pick lately.

Do any of you incessantly watch movies over and over and over again?

Yeah. Usually Sigourney movies. Probably the movie I've watched over and over the most is "Heartbreakers". I'm not joking I've probably seen it almost 100 times... probably more actually. A couple of months ago I watched it 4 times in one day. I have 3 copies. One in region 1 which I keep in my DVD drive all the time. And 2 in region 2... I keep one in my DVD player all the time (apart from when I'm watching something else of course) and then I have a copy that I keep safe... Just incase the other breaks. I just can't tire of the movie. It makes me laugh every time I watch it.

I can also watch Alien Resurrection over and over. I'm uncontrollably obsessed with Sigourney.

Oh and right now I'm going through a "Mean Girls" phase.

My college roommate watched "Legends of the Fall" every single day for a month. When it was over, he would rewind it and just watch it again. Of course it was the only movie he had and he was too lazy to go rent a new one and his drug-induced ass needed something to be entertained with. Of course I saw it so many times as a result.

I have purposely seen Romy and Michele's High School Reunion like 50 times. That movie cracks me up and I just love it so much.

When I was a kid and we had HBO, I remember seeing Spaceballs umpteen times.
