Truly pathetic. Don't know why Idowu can't get it together when it truly matters (eg Olympics etc). And to think that Jonathan Edwards tipped him for gold.

Kelly rocks! She is consistently performing well these days! :bounce:

Where's Svetlana Feofanova in the pole vault? Is she not in Madrid?

Doesn't look like she is :o and I thought she'd be a challenge to Isinbayeva

also, Isibayeva failed once at 4.50m before clearing the 2nd time

OMG, now Chris Tomlinson has failed to qualify for the long jump final. Apparently he was troubled by some sort of stomach injury. What lousy luck.

What on earth is going on with Team GB?? :fiery: :o

Joice is a fanastic runner! she made the 60m world final in 2003 and in the same year reached the semi finals in the outdoor 100m of the world championships!

did you even see the race?? Arron pulled out, making Joice think it was a false start but Arron withdrew injured and Joice just couldnt get back into her running.

Joice should have the experience to keep runnin until she hears the recall gun but I am sure she will prove you wrong in the summer
