German Weather in August?

Hey all. I'm going to Germany in August for about a week or so. I'm going to Cologne more specifically. I just wanted to know if anyone knew what the typical weather is like there?

I know I'm about 5 months early, but I just wanted to know.

Well, it can be like this or that. I am living one hour from Colone in the great city Aachen (come to visit me) :p and it can be hot or cold, but it will be between 18 degrees in the worst case and with rain or about 30/35 degrees if it is extremely hot again. In the last few years that has been quite more the case.....
