Million Dollar Baby won best picture, i havent seen it yet, so i couldnt really say if its the best sports movie, but right now my favorite and i think is the best sports-movie is Rudy, its a great football movie, great story. I like "remember the Titans" and "For love of the game" too.

So what sports movie do you think is the best?

Good to see A League of their own getting some mentions, doubtless due to lovely Lori Petty's top performance! :)

can't believe no one has mentioned MAJOR LEAGUE!

don't like baseball, but it has the best movies.

charlie sheen (as 'wild thing' rick vaughn, wearing a sleeveless leather jacket with a mismatched tie): i look like a banker in this.

tom berenger: gotta wear a tie. those are the house rules.

wesley snipes (as willie mays hays, looking perplexed at the menu): what language is this?

berenger: french.

sheen: they got chili dogs over there?

greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat movie!

'say hey! i'm willie "mays" hays! i play like mays, and i run like hays. how ya doin?!?'

'take a look at THIS fuckin' guy!'

"name's pedro serano. defected from cuba. wanted religious freedom."
"what's his religion?"
"voodoo."

"is very bad to steal jobu's rum."
*gets very close*
"is VERY bad."

"straight ball i hit it very much. but curve ball...bats are afraid. so i ask jobu to come. take FEAR from bats!"
"you know, you might want to take jesus christ as your savior instead of foolin' around with this stuff."
*everyone moans and scoffs*
"knock it off harris, don't start a holy war over here."
"ah, jesus. i like him VERY much. but he no help with curve ball."
"are you trying to tell me that jesus christ can't hit a curve ball?!?"

*on the very old and unstable plane*
"vaughn! better get that stewardess. i'm gonna need one of those bags!"
"don't think there are any stewardesses."
"wonder if there are any pilots?"
*shot of dorn with a black sleeping mask on his face, looking at the front and back of the plane*

*another scene on the rickety plane. pedro and harris sit across the aisle from eachother. there's thunder outside, and pedro crosses himself*
harris: oh, so NOW you've come around.
*points above him*
harris: HE'S not fooled.

i could go on and on....EXCELLENT movie.

Victory with Michael Caine, Sylvester Stallone, Max Von Sydow and Pele :o

This movie is a serious guilty pleasure for me...I have seen it like 100 times (perhaps more). I watch it whenever it comes on TV. Its cheesy, full of bad acting but I LOVE IT!
