Generally I am not shy but there are some situations that can intimidate me and then I can react like a shy person.

gawd! i cant believe i'm finding it difficult to find a time when i was shy. even my first time i wasnt too shy cuz the then bf was shier.and i used that to my advantage...like a dominatrix.:lol:

Yes, I suppose it comes with the years... but I am still really shy!! Like this midday, I met at the uni restaurant my Dutch Teacher and she said me "Hallo" and just by saying "Goeiemiddag" I blushed :fiery: I wished I'd been a mouse!

There are a lot of people that I can't be bothered to make conversation with in the real world which basically means that I may come across as shy when I'm actually incredibly lazy :zzz:.

I used to be shy. I used to be really insecure about the way I looked. But now I realize that I don't look that bad. And I'm not all quiet and shy around new people anymore. I kind of... take a few moments to weigh people up but for the most part I'm pretty outgoing. I don't know what changed me. Maybe my job.... dunno.

I'm shy in the sense that I'm just very passive. I never take initiative in approaching someone, I just hope (or not hope, depending on the person :p )that people approach me. I don't really care though. I don't feel the need for a large social network, often I'm just in a very anti-social mood. When I get to know someone better I open up though, but I'm still introverted.

I don't even want to mention large groups...:o
