i can't begin to explain how fucked up that is...

hopefully lisa gets better and can come back and quickly remember how to play like she did in those first 2 rounds!

Where's the champagne?

Hmmmmm. Although it's nice to see Anastasia advance, it's not really a nice way to get through imo.

DAMN! I was hoping she'd take some of these pesky Russians out of the mix. Regardless of what anyone says, this Standford product has game.
GET WELL SOON LISA!!!

It's a shame... I'm not a Lisa fan, but the match up looked pretty good.... The upset was on the cards

Yes it is. She would have had such a great chance of repeatin last year. Myskina was definitey more than beatable for the in-form Lisa. I actually expected Lisa to win this in two rather easy sets just like she had done in the first two rounds. I have been a fan of Lisa's so this withdrawal hurts big time. I thought her pullin out of the doubles comepetition was more for precaustions but judging by the fact she was unable to play the singles as well, her back strain seems not so casual. I reall hope she will get well soon. Lisa is such an amazin player to watch and one of the most underrated players on the tour. I have always luved and enjoyed watchin her play.
I'm feelin devastated now.. Poor Lisa.
