Hello everyone :wavey:

I thought I'd make one of these, cos there is a thread like this in most of the forums (like in H2HQ and the Classy Clijsters Lounge) and I thought it'd be nice to having one here also. So, this thread is just for talking about anything u wanna talk about :)

Well..I don't have too much to say at the moment, cos I'm in the middle of my exams at school so I haven't been doing much else, apart from studying..not very interesting, lol :D

Hope everything's good with all of u,

Jelena -xxx-

oh i'm in middle of my exams too. I had one one on tuesday -History of political theories  and i failed. Only one person passed. But that's usual at our university just like they change the exam system on the day of exams...and other things :(. Why did i start that s*it at first place!

mmmm... Let;s see... I am right now separating chaos. I have to caught up in American History AP, College Algebra and Computer Science AP. THe problem is that I am very disorganized.....

Anyways.... sad things bout Ivanovic... she almost got the second set....

**Jelica**
Jan 21st, 2005, 04:51 PM
Yeah it's for sure sad of Ivanovic..still, it was always gonna be a very tough one for her, and Mauresmo probably knew she was gonna have to take her level up to win that match without too much troubles. Ana has showed anyway that she can compete with the top players and now she shouldn't need to play qualifying no more.

Anyway..my exams are over, yay! :) :D Good luck to everyone else who's doin' exams..too bad u failed your exam Duleml, better luck next time! It sounded like a real hard exam also! I didn't get any any results back for mine yet..I am not thinkin' I'm gonna have did too well 2 be honest..especially on English, cos the English exam here of course is an exam for native English speakers, so I will not have done too good for obvious reasons! :D

I had flu last week but I'm finally feeling better.
A little disappointed with the results of our serbian sensations in OZ,specially Jelena.Oh well...
Good luck for the ones with exams!!! ;)

hope u feel better from the flu soon Veronika :)

Yeah, it was a shame Jeca lost so early..but Panova was quite a tough match, cos she is like, better player than her ranking I think..

hey hey guys! i think this thread is a good idea :hatoff:  :)
i was also ill this week coz the wheather is very weird in Paris: one day it's sunny, the day after very very cold (-5 °C ), it's very difficult to adapt your body at it.
Btw, i've not exams right now (best of luck for all of you guys ;) ) but i have to make a choise and apply for a uni very soon (march) so i work like the devil too especially in litterature and english (second language for me). :p
About jelena jankovic, it's sad but i think she was a lil bit sad and don't play with her whole heart. it's a pity. hope she'll recover her shape very soon! But at least, Ana cheered me up from it with her nice 3rd round:bounce: i think she'll come into top 50 soon!! :p ;) ;)
where are you from, guys? Veronika, are you really french? :)

Joana
Jan 22nd, 2005, 06:08 PM
Veronika is Spanish. Las dos hemos hablado unas veces en "Si hablas español..." :) :wavey:

I'd like to know about you, Daniela and Jelena, where are you from? Jelena is in the UK, right? How long have you been there? Or you were born there?
And Daniela, I understand you live in France. Do you come here as well?

ohh veronika is lucky, i love spanish language (and portuguese too ) a lot, i would like to speak it coz it sounds really good and romantic in a way. :) :hearts: I learn it at school pero no soy una especialista todavia.
And yeah, i live in France since i'm 10. I was born in Serbia but i emigrated here. I 'm used to going in Serbia for summer and winter holidays coz almost all my family is there :p

Yeah I'm spanish but I learned french since I was a kid and I love France, specially Paris...:hearts: You think spanish language is romantic? I think french sounds more romantic I think we spaniards speak too loud lol .I'm very much interested in languages.I'm currently learning russian, which I find a little hard cause it's so different from any other language I've learned to date. What about serbian? Is it a difficult language? Maybe in the future I'll learn it.I also want to learn chinese and portuguese.

Hello everyone! :wavey:

Yeah, Joana and Duleml, I live in the UK now but I was not born there, I moved here when I was 13. I don't go back to Serbia on holiday, cos it costs too much for the air-fare  @Duleml, I don't live in London, but I have an uncle who lives there, and often in the holidays I go and stay with him, which is cool-I looove London, it is such a cool city! :) :D

@Daniela, I hope you will feel better soon (we have the same weather here, one day it is not so cold at all, and the next it is snowing and stuff..it's very hard to know what weather it will be each day). Also, good luck with making your choices for uni, and I'm sure you will make the right choice! :)

@Veronika, I think Spanish is such a cool language! :D I wish I could speak Spanish and also Portuguese, cos this is a cool language also.

Anyway, I hope u guys are all well..I got some of my exam marks back today, and they were not too bad, so I'm quite pleased :)

Yeah this thread is a very nice idea.I'll also introduce myself (even if we've been talking for a while now):
I'm Veronika,28 years old,I live in Valencia (Spain).I work in a videostore and also study languages (russian at the moment).I want to become a translator.I started following tennis back in 1990.Those were the Monica Seles dominance years.Of course I'm a big Monica fan since then and she's my all-time favourite player.I used to play tennis myself too (also like Monica, you know,2 handed both sides),but had to stop 3 years ago because I had some pain in my back.I still play sometimes.

don't worry most of us had the same experience. I trained for 5 years, and then one day in 7th grade (13 years) i've hurt my knee, but the knee problem is traditional in my family. My mother was in athletics when she had the same problem. And she had great results. When i was a kid i played great tennis, now i'm playing 3rd league exibitions or something , but i play it almost every second day from may to october ( i get a free court from my mum's company for 1.5 hours, and 2 hours over the weekend, it's bit far but i don't mind) and i really enjoy it :bounce:
My service is awful, and my backhand isn't very good, but the forehand is monstrous. I need some extra strenght to hit the ball, cause i'm vey thin i'm 187 tall and only 68 kilos :fiery: (that's family tradition too  )

Cool, you guys like playing sport too! :) :D I really really enjoy sports, I play tennis, football, and I train for high-jump :) @Duleml, I'm sure your tennis game is better than you say! :D If you play exhibitions and stuff, you must play well.

trust me those exibitions are  and the clay is :tape: . Anyway i'm good in volleyball, not that good in basketball-(in high school they just gave me to shoot 3-pointers, cause i panic under the board and keep making errors) but i shoot quite well those 3p's. Football  always a goalkeeper

Sports and injuries - I do know a lot about it, unfortunately. I used to play handball until I was 17 when I injured my knee so I had to stop. It was a nightmare, it hurt like hell and it still gives me trouble sometimes.
I still adore handball, it's my fave sport together with tennis. You should see me cheering for our women's national team. I act like

ok, i dont post that much but i will introduce myself... i'm sasha, live in london and i work in hr
always liked tennis, but after seeing jelena d. beating martina hingins, wimbledon 1st round became a real fun... and my internet adiction started there, together with sleepless nights staring and shouting at the screen
as for playing tennis, well i practice with my friend who's a girl, 5'6 and she beats me every time :( i'm just hopeless, but at least i'm trying... :)

hello guys:kiss: it seems tat we have a lot of things in common  :) :D i also trained volley ball and basket ball even if i'm a lil bit short (only 1.65m= a family inheritance as dule says:lol:) in basket ball,i used to seep into the talls and i was pretty good at shoot :p :p but i stopped after a back injury. Actually i recover from it but i became a lil bit lazzy with age  :o so i practise only one afternooon per week :o btw, i also love table tennis:hearts: and i follow it on tv.
About my uni, i finally decided to study languages in order to be a translator (veronika, we'll be collegues:p) i hope i'll work in a entreprise and travel a lot coz i really love it :hearts:
btw, sascha i also loved martina-jela at wimbly!i became a jela fan since that, it's a pity she has all these problems coz she is a really talented player:sad: and about marti, i can't wait to see her mini comeback next week!!! :D :D :D :D :D i miss her game and her in general a looot!!!

Hey everyone! :wavey: how are y'all today?

Did anyone watch the match of Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova this morning? Wow, was that ever 1 amazing match! :D I thought Marija had won for sure, and then Serena came back..it was so much intensity in this match! Actually, I'm, like, really happy to see Serena in a final again, cos I think she deserve it, and this is good for women's tennis also. I feel kinda sorry for Sharapova tho', cos she must feel sooo bad, cos really she had so many chances to win that match..even at 6-6 she had I think it was about 2 or 3 break points. I'm sooo tired now, from watching tennis, and I was nearly asleep at school, lol

Anyway, it's very cool, cos as Daniela says, we all seem to have alot in common, like we all like playin' sport and stuff..everyone seems to have had problems with injury tho'..sorry to hear that  and I hope your injuries will get better! :)

Anyway, hope u guys are all doin' great :) cya soon!

yeah injuries really suck.:( The worst thing for me is since I stopped I put on a lot of weight, cause I became more and more lazy.:o Shame on me!

Cool,Daniela ;) What languages are you gonna be a translator of? Tu parles bien le français,n'est-ce-pas?

Yeah jelena_JuJufan,I did watch the match. And I have to say WHAT A MATCH!!! I can't believe Serena resisted and won in the end. After set one it seems like it would be a walk for Maria.Serena has really all my admiration :worship: Maria,I like her game a lot but the girl annoys me a little saying "come on" when her opponent just double faulted? It's just bad sportsmanship.Anyway I hope Serena wins the final.

Joana
Jan 27th, 2005, 03:38 PM
Phew, I only woke up an hour ago. I felt exhausted just watching that match.
I simply had no energy to watch Lindsay's match later on. I so hope my girl will win the title now... It's been so long since her last GS - 5 years!!!

Jan 27th, 2005, 03:56 PM
i watched Safin-Federer, and that was an amazing match. I'm very glad that Marat won. He played great tennis from the beginning of AO (eventhough he beat Novak ) i really hope he can win the title, cause i can't stand either Hewitt or Rodick.

Bероника
Jan 27th, 2005, 04:00 PM
Yeah I also hope Safin takes the title on the men's side.

**Jelica**
Jan 27th, 2005, 05:03 PM
Wow, Safin won?! Amazing! :) :D

No offense to Federer, cos I think he's a great player, but I'm glad Safin beat him, cos I like Marat alot, and also it was gonna be a bit boring if Federer won again, cos nobody beat him for so long..I hope the final will be Safin v. Roddick, cos I don't like Hewitt so much.

daniela86
Jan 27th, 2005, 07:32 PM
I completly understand you Jelena, last year i didn't follow that much ATP (even if i used to do it) coz of Federer, he always won (exept rolland garros :p) and it 's boring (even if i must admit that his game is really incredible and fantastic, imo,he 'll be one of the best player all time )This year, i hope marat'll cause some troubles and kick often his ass
Btw, the 2 men played a sensationnal tennis, it's by far the best match i've seen this year and i'm glad marat focused and didn't get angry when he had those match points against him!! :) :) :) I'll cheer for him in final, hewitt and roddick are not my faves :p!!
I had to go at school early so i couldn't match maria-serena :bigcry: it's a pity but it's probably better coz i'm a big masha fan and i would be even more disappointed by the result! At least she fought:) so i'm proud ofher all the same. About lindzi,i'm glaaad  she is a great great player and she deserves to win a grand slam before she retires! i'm cheering for her now. :) :) :) and joana you're right 5 years without slam is too long for such a player even if it often it wasn't her fault (injuries at a bad moment   ) so go go lindz!!

and Vero, i'll study english and serbian to translate from french to english and or from serbian to french or from serbian to english and vice versa :p Et bien sur, je parle très bien le français!!:) :D

I wish everybody here a very nice day

Well i'm with Lindsay, but i doubt she'll win

daniela86
Jan 28th, 2005, 06:15 PM
lindsay might be tired after all the matches she played (singles and doubles) but she beat serena twice in row, so why not a third time?:) even if she played a bad match against dechy, i think she's the kind of player to rise her level at the right moment!btw, i was very moved when i heard what she said at the doubles ceremony and particulary when she cried (i've never seen her crying:eek:  ) she has really a wonderful heart:worship: :worship: :D
I hope she won't retire if she wins, though:)

**Jelica**
Jan 29th, 2005, 12:24 PM
Aww, poor Lindsay! Really such a shame..I thought she had it won for sure when Serena was injured in the first set, but what happened?! I'm really sorry for u Joana, cos I know you are a fan of Lindsay, and it's really a shame that she could have won, especially when this maybe is her last Australian Open.
Well done to Serena though, cuz she did great :yeah: What a fight! I think this that she is now back at the top is good for women's tennis, but still, it wouldve been sooo nice had Lindsay won.
I also am really sad for my favorite player, Justine H-H, cuz she hasn't started training yet, and I start to get worried..Greenout thought maybe she has some kinda "mental" problem not just her injury and I really hope it not true, but I begin to have fear of this..

Joana

Well I'm very happy about Serena.Everybody was already counting out the sisters and here comes Serena strong as a lioness.:worship: Sorry to Joana and other Lindsay fans.I feel bad for her also, but only 1 can win in tennis. Is it true that Lindsay is retiring this year?I'm sorry then.Yesterday I read another of my faves Conchita will not play again next year    She will be missed.

About Juju,I don't know.I've always considered her one of the strongest mental players,so I wouldn't worry about it.Of course it will take her a little to be back to where she was,it happens to every player who's out for a long time, but she's such a talent I think she'll be back to fight for Slams ;)

daniela86
Jan 30th, 2005, 08:12 PM
i'm so glaaad marat won, he deserved a second grand slam in his career that's sure.He is really an amazing player, my favourite on the men side. :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :) :D :D :D ;) ;) :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :p    btw, i'm a lil bit angry coz iveta always has to meet one of my great faves (dulko at hobart, ana at oz open , now jeca at tokyo) so i can't cheer for her :o
hope everybody enjoyed this cold cold week end! :)

and jelena don't worry, juju will be back, i'm sure, like veronika said she is a fighter in life as well as on court so it's just a bad period (she had it already in the past when she was often injuried :( )Keep your fingers crossed for her!!

**Jelica**
Feb 1st, 2005, 04:57 PM
Thx guys, you make me feel alot more positive about Justine :) I have decided she is just being cautious with her injury, cuz she was having so much frustration last year, she probably doesn't want to return too soon and have a bad injury that will just cause her more frustrations.
So how are all of you? Hope everything's good with all of u guys! :) I had a great day at school yesterday, cuz there was a power failure midway through the morning so at 1100 we all got sent away cuz there was no lights or heating etc. Me and my friends all went to this milk bar place and sat there (in the dark lol ) and got ice creams and stuff for half-price (cuz they had to sell them all cuz the refrigiraters were not working because there was not any electricity). Good day at school, huh?

Heya MagicMilan! :wavey: Glad you found this forum, lol!
Btw, I also was supporting Partizan last night, cos I support Partizan since always! :) I guess a draw was not a bad result although I was hoping of course that they won, but hopefully they can manage to get through.

I feel kinda sad today, cos it's my birthday today (okay, I know that sounds a bit wierd!) and I had a really bad day. For one thing, my dad (and also my sisters) did not remembered, but I wasn't expecting them to cos they have other stuff to think about, so I don't care about that. But, most of my friends were away on this trip to somewhere for History so I didn't see any of them, and one of my best friends was for some reason not talking a single word to me all day. I guess I must have offend her or sth, but I really dunno how, since I haven't spoken to her for a week since she was away on vacation in France and the last time we spoke she certainly wasnt upset with me  And then we had to do a practise English exam and it was sooo difficult:sad: Anyway, sorry for moaningso much about this..I know of course there are far far far worse things in the world than ppl not remembering your birthday, friends not speaking to you and exams..I just feel a lil bit sad

Happy B-day

I wish it would stop being so damn hot here in Adelaide, today I played tennis with some friends and got sunburnt so badly. I'm totaly red and my skin is strating to peal and shed. But the worst thing is I have my first lecture tomorrow at my new university, and I am going to look so ugly. Does any body know a quick cure for this?
Moisturisers dont work.

be careful with sun. I had a same problem and now i have a little lighter spots under my eye. Doctors say it's probably vitiligo so i have to be careful. Fortunatelly it's 2mm big, so i hope it won't get bigger. Anyway my skin is a bit darker, and during sun i have really dark tan. I noticed one little spot on my left hand too. Be careful cause doctor told me that there are little chances to cure vitiligo (he's not certain that i have it). That will happen more in future. UV index will get higher every year, so more people will have either white (milky) spots or dark (brown) ones. Sorry to be pesimistic. But this is just precaution.

I hate our stupid media. They never, ever mention Bojana Petrovic and she surely is the best handball player in the world. I just watched Slagelse's match on cable TV and the way she played was absolutely phenomenal. :worship:
And yet she's never mentioned in newspapers but those NBA players who get to play 3 minutes per season are like celebrities here.

@Ivanovic--hope your sunburn gets better soon, and be carefull in the sun (I'm lucky cuz I don't ever seem to get sunburned, even if I stay out in the sun all day :) )

@Joana--I do kinda know what you mean about the Serbian media you know..well, I don't know about handball that much, but they do make such a big deal about those guys who play in the NBA, and if they ever even start a match or sth, then you hear about it for the next two weeks non stop..and there are many other athletes who play sports which are less well known and even if they are like, one of the best in the whole world like Bojana Petrovic, they never hardly get mentioned at all..

Btw, I was just wondering..do any of you guys support any Serbian football team? I support Partizan Belgrade and I hope they will get through to the next round of the UEFA Cup! :) :D

Anyway, hope everything's good with all of you guys :)

Has anyone seem "Beovizija" yesterday. I haven't had that much fun for a while, what a circus that was. Terrible songs and the singing...I just embarassed this went via satelite to the world! Poor people what do they think of us! Anyway i like harder music so i guess Teodora Bojovic was the only one with half-decent song!

Every year worse and worse :tape:

hey guys! me had also 3 exams last week so i was very busy.
Fortunatly i think i passed them, i will know results in march :p
sorry to hear what happened to your grandma Dule, i also lost my grand father 2 years ago and i know how much it's painful  but at least, you spent a lot of time with her and you had the chance to know her unlike a lot of my friends whose grandma died when they were children.

Jela :bigcry: i'm sure things will be get better with your friend when she'll come back from France. (btw, the wheather is just awful here, it's much much colder than usual:p poor her) because you'll have occasions to speak and make things clear:p and if she is a true friend, she cannot be mad at you for a long time :p

About football, i cheer for Zvezda since we won Champions League in 1991. I watched it at serbian TV live and i remember how much i was excited. :) :D

i know it's not nice. I cheered for her when she played Safina, and last weeks finals, but at one point of the match in 2nd set i was so angry on both of them. On Amelie for looking so much like Andy with that serve, and on Ana for hitting too hard. My nerves went out in both their matches. It's not a tennis you enjoy. If she played anyone else it would be a different kind of tennis. Nicer one. This was just plain power and "0 brains".

100% agree
nabildana muskaraca
teko je ani igrati protiv muskarca

anyway has anyaone noticed Amilie Mouresmo has stoped our 2 girls when they were at their peak. Jelena Jankovic did win a tournament, but not a tier1 she was stopped in the SF by guess who, Ana also won a tournament, but in the most important event a Grand Slam she was stoped at her peak in r3 by you know whom,

also I live in Adelaide, Aus and I spent 4 hours following ana's match on a channel called "EUROSPORTNEWS" they only show game by game score from the match every 5-10 minutes. I did not want to start up the computer in my room as I would have woken up my brother who had to go to work in the morning. So I set in the dark living room all night long following score by score even though I knew I had my second to last driving lesson in the morning, university lecture and tutorial in the afternoon and then work in the evening I still followed the match, after the first set I felt like screaming with joy and I was like "staying up for it was worth it." And then........Ok I have to stop typing now I have a lump in my throat because I feel like crying, and I feel depresed. I know I should not feel this way as she is only a tennis player it is not like I will get a share of her prize money. BUT somehow I have really fallen in lovewith ana and I really thought she can put our country on the world scale and portray it in a great manner. I'm sure ana will be great but I hate when she misses these chances. Somebody help me to end this stupid, un necessary depression.

Joana
Feb 24th, 2005, 01:08 AM
Come on, don't be depressed. There's just no need for it. Look, a 17 year old took #2 player in the world to a tight 3-setter. It was a good result for Ana.
Success doesn't come overnight. It's a long, strenuous way. And matches like this are just a part of the learning process. And I'd rather see Ana take this path - gaining experience by playing against the top opponents and taking something positive from matches like this, so she can build up her game and we can enjoy seeing her greay play in years to come, than just making a few quick results as a teenager before fizzling and going to obscurity (like some players have done).
Just be positive.

Oh I think you take tennis and cheering players so seriously. Please relax and you will enjoy much more.I know what I mean cause I used to be like that for Monica Seles during years, but believe you really enjoy much more when you take things easier.Tennis is only a game.THere are much more serious and tremendous things happening in the world...

Luckily I don't understand serbian because I think you made some un-nice things about Amélie and she really doesn't deserve them. She has worked very hard to be where she is now.Ana and Jelena are still very young, they are starting. If they work hard and learn from lost matches maybe one day they'll find themselves in the same position as Momo is enjoying right now.

daniela86
Feb 27th, 2005, 02:29 PM
I agree with Joana, you can win all the matches you play when you just started to play in pro.Ana already did something very rare when when won a tourney so early and like joana said she pushed the number 2 -who just have won antwerp and who had a spot to be number1 last week- to play her best tennis which is very very promising.Plus, all tennis specialists predict Ana to have a great career so you don't have to be depressed, it's just a question of time, ana will win some grand slams, be patient!!
Btw, i must admit that duleml is rite, it's really a pity tennis players use their physical strenght to win, seeing an ace once is cool but ten times in a match, it becomes boring.Momo is not the only one who uses it,more and more players do it and that's why tennis loses a lot of fans.I really hope Ana won't play like them and that she will develop a finesse game based on strategy like Monica,Justine or Hingis used to do.

Oh please Momo's game is not based only in physical strength. She just happens to be very well built. So don't label a player just because of her looks.Momo, along with Hénin,is the one player nowadays who uses more variety in her game and has all the tools.

Anyway,if this thread is to diss Momo I'm off.You can celebrate a player without putting her opponents down.

And Monica was never known as a finesse player, but a hard hitter. In fact she was the one who introduced power tennis. She used to hammer her opponents when in form.

Don't worry please Veronika, I'm sure that no one is turning this thread to a Mauresmo-bashing thread really! Also I agree that there's truth in what both are saying: I think Momo isn't just a power player and she really does have many other aspect to her game. But at the same time, I agree that it's a shame if tennis does become just about power. As for Duleml's statements, I dunno whether these is true, cos I neversaw the match, but I never really thought to compare Momo to Roddick.. Anyway, please guys let's now forget this and not have any argument

Anyway, how r u all doing this week? In the UK there was soooo much snow last week, and I was really hoped that we might get off school, but cos I live in the city this didn't happen :(

They had a really nice life. My grandfather was a nuclear physician and worked for UN in Geneva, and for Yugoslav embassy in Washington, and was teaching at university in Belgrade and Washington. He published many books, some of them in english. My granmother was physician too, she was director of a school in Belgrade. I hope i'll have a bit of their life .

Ohh, that's annoying for you :( Do you have VCR player? Cos if you had this then you could set this program to record at 0300 or whatever, and then watch it later at whatever time you like? It's just a suggestion :)

U know, today for some reason I really miss Serbia..I dunno why, this is maybe cos I was talking to my cousin on the phone last night (and I think we made suuuch a big phone bill, lol  ) and suddenly just this morning, I really feel like "oh, I wish I was in Belgrade with all my family and everything".

Btw, did anyone watched the European Athletics Championships at the weekend? Cos Topic, the high jumper got into the men's high jump final and he came 5th which was so cool! :) and also Jelena Isinbajeva made a new WR on women's pole vault, but she does this every time she compete so I guess it's not such a big thin :D

il si brdjanka il si primorka is my favorite part.

Topic is great, too bad he had that doping scandal. This is his last season  , and the russian girl is amazing, she's braking the wc for 1cm each time and takes 50.000 dolars each time. I think everyone know she can jump over 5m. But hey 1cm a time and half a million is there already

I read that Isinbajeva also wants to break Bubka's record of 35 WRs and that's why she taked the bar up 1 cm at a time (just as he did). Apparently she has actually jumped 5 meters at training though, and her clearance at Madrid would have cleared 5 meters really.

Because it sucks. Just sucks BIG time. And the guys (sort of a boys band or something) are ugly. It's terrible. And what's worse, the Montenegrins in the jury didn't give a single vote for Serbian songs, just their own, so that's why that awful song won.
But all in all, the quality of songs was scandalous. There wasn't a single song I liked.

Anyway, I heard the song of No Name and I think it's bad..@jd_fan, I also have heard the song of Jelena Tomasevic and I think it was way better than that boy band, although it's also not really my kinda music. But still, it's a nice song, and I'm sure it would have done well at Eurovision. I heard there may be appeal, and I really hope so!

I'm disappointed too that they chose to act in this way..they gave no points at all to Jelena Tomasevic..it's really shocking :(

OK! Today i played tennis for the first time this year. i played my brother (18 y, trains regulary in Germany) and i sooooooooo lost!!!!!!!!! like i never played tennis before. Score 6-0 6-1 i had 15+ double faults i stopped counting (some of the serves missed the whole field!) had no power at all, my backhand had no power at all too, but it had gooood height (just affraid i didn't kill some bird) and the rest is awful. Actually i don't know how i won that game at all. He wanted another match, but i was fine with that "one" game. I really have to go to basics now . Btw, have any of u guys got exams comin' up soon? I've got my final school-exams soon, so I'm at the moment studying really hard, especially for French cos this is my favo subject. Daniela, tu parles très bien le français, non? Moi, je le parle aussi, mais pas très bien, malheuresment!

OK another revival. About Eurosong. 7th place is beyond me, they didn't deserve it, they sounded vey bad. Greek lady deserved it. Altough i found Hungarian girl ver hot!

Had my exam yesterday. Written part. Did good! Went on to play tennis afterwards, and for the first time i kicked onehanded backhand, and it was great. I kept playing that, the ball went down the line always, no mistakes. Finally won the match 62 63. Serve was bad as usual, but firing at the end. I actually lost those two games in first set with all double-faults  , And i had a doublefaulted game in second set as well . But poor guy, he just couldn't get that forehand at all. I'm lucky to have that one. Never fails me!

Our women's volleyball team has qualified to the World Championships! They beat Greece and Germany, lost to Poland, but still managed to book a place at the WC. This is a historic achievement, for the first time since 1978 our women's team will play at the WC. Well done, girls!!! :D

Hi! Nice idea you decided to "rescue" this thread...Is everybody on holidays? Not me,that's for sure.In fact I'm very much burned out from work.Come on,people, post here more often...

Yeah that's great SCG had 2 finalists.Congrats! I couldn't follow the championships as closely as I'd have wanted. Is it the same Dragutin Topic who was competing like 10 years ago.He might be "old" now...
By the way, what does eaxactly SCG stand for? Sorry I hope I don't sound too ignorant...I guess the first S is for Serbia, but the rest? Thanks in advance!

i played tennis today, but i twisted my knee first time after long time. It's ok now and i hope i can play on thursday too. It was perfect weather and i was up 6/4 3/2 and then it happened when i was running for the backhand. If only i played backhand better maybe it wouldn't happen! Anyway i didn't fall like always i kept my self on raquet. I went to the club and took a drink and was lucky to sit in the bus on the way home!

I'm playing one of those lowest grade  tournaments this week. It's has Main event with 16 players draw and Over 35 Event. It's actually the "kids" of the employees of the company where my mum works Serbian Railways  But it's fun we have lunch and party after. In 2003 i won, but last year i a quit in semis. I was playing this idiot son of some huge director, and his parents were booing at my every point. When i got pissed i went and told him to go to hell and i quit . We do get medals and diploma  but i really hope that idiot director and his idiot son will not come this time!

i went to Eurobasket finals today and it was great! I cheered for Germany, i don't understand why majority of serbs cheered for Greece. Did they forget the booing we got in Athens 1995 finals! Shame on you! My friends and i were cheereing Deutchland all the time, and the greek sitting next to me got so angry and started coursing me! Then we started shoutin Deutchland even stronger but are efforts were poor as there were no other germans in the hall! Our primeminister who gave the medals Kostunica got booded too!
