i'm also hoping she's close to 100 percent for the AO.

the draw looks okay. possibly Schnyder in 3R. i like her chances a lot more if she can win quickly in the first two rounds. good luck!

not a bad draw for Tati (although Meghann can be dangerous sometimes and Putty is playing really well...) If she's feeling fresh and plays like she did at Fed Cup there're some big chances to make it to the semis IMO

HTE

Yeah I think that's a really decent draw.
If Tati is at her best she has really good chances to go far this year as well. Go Tati :yeah: :)

  I really hope she will be able to play, and in good health... I can't imagine how sad I would be... :awww:

Good win Tati, but way to many errors and the serve can't have been the best either with those stats. Something to work on in the next match, Spears should be manageable if Tati is fit. Good luck :)

well Tati just lost 5-7, 1-6. i thought once she fought back to 5 all in the first she would rap up the first set. i saw the stats, 10 double faults and she was broken 6 times! did anyone see the match, was it her abs that were causing the serving problems? and does anyone know where her ranking will be after the Aussie?

I was reealy shocked hearing that Tatiana has been loosing today in her 2nd round match :o :o ; it's closed to the worst scenario we could have expected..
That's really sad because I think that she was having a pretty good draw ...she could have made it to the quater ....
I suppose that the zona she had and the medecines she had to take just get her physically down...
Anyway, this year is really important for her because she'll have to proove that her rising of more than 300 spots at the ranking is not a shooting star :( but a rising star. :bounce: :bounce:
We've so many exemples of girls whi were really talented but never confirmed (Mirjana lucic, Alexandra Stevenson....) ; and for sure Tatiana in under the media spots light: many interviews, endorsements, IMG contract and so on...for sure she will be earning ans has already earned a lot of money.......and she needs to be foncused on tennis, because you cant' be a Top 10 player without sacrifices ans efforts...
So good luck for her in the next months and I really hope for her a succesfull carreer because she's got the game to be real good...

pretty much agree with what you said, fredbdx. although with the zona and the slight injury she had at sydney, i thought she might not get past the 3rd round at the AO but i didn't see her losing in the 2nd. there are also other young players who are quickly rising in the rankings.

but we shouldn't forget that she was able to beat kutznetsova easily 2 months ago. that's why i'm not too concerned with her AO result but i will be concerned if her results don't improve in the coming months, especially before the clay season.
