Williams Sisters AO doubles??

It looks like they won the doubles final of the WWC very convincingly according to the score. Did they say anything about playing doubles in the AO? I hope they decide to. :bounce: :bounce:

yeah i hope so, but in any case, dont they need a WC? they are not ranked or anything!

I actually hope they don't play. I want them to be fresh for the singles.

they're barely holding it together for singles, they def shouldnt play dubs if they want to go far in the tourney

They may need a WC, but if they want one they will be the 1st choice over some young locals I'm sure.

Last time they played the Doubles here they won.

Also I think when they play doubles in the slams it does help their singles game somewhat as that is more matchplay they are getting.

And they must rate well here in Australia as when they played in 2003 from QF onwards their matches were televised.

would they get a special seeding like they were given in 2003 if they did.

or would they just be a Wildcard team.

Would they tournament want to run the risk of em playing Suarez/Pascual in the opening round of doubles.
