I would have said Petrova's odds should be way higher, too

I'd say the whole thing looks whack to me. Justine and Serena as favourites?! Serena maybe, but Justine? By her own admission she'll struggle to defend her title this year. I couldn't be bothered criticising the rest of them, it would take too long...

they can't help it if people put money on players and not on others. they will all come in as the event draws nearer. why would you put money on now when there are no form indicators.

Anyway thats not the Fixed Odds, As Soon as it starts drawing to the start and betting for the eventual winner the odds become more realistic

Well..you have to look at the bookmakers perspective. They've
made so much money last year off the Serena/JHH winner combo
at 3 grand slams in 2004.

Why stop and look at realism in the eye
with form, injury, illness when you can go for loud mouths pub boasting?
:tape:

I have a friend who bets on grand slam winners, and his formula
is to never pick the 1st favorite. He goes for the 2nd or 3rd name.
:smash: And he never bets on a player that's currently hold
a winning streak. :tape:
