Wow, very even poll. If Li Na plays the same way she played against Kuznetzova in Beijing:

"I was feeling like I was playing (against a player from the) top five in the world," Kuznetsova told reporters after the match. "I am so happy that I won because it was one of the toughest matches I've played all year. She just played unbelievable."

Then I think she will win!

a bit curious... I think most of ppl here has never seen Na Li's play. where is the confidence come from?
No doubt, chinese gals have big potential, but I think it takes time... and year 2005 is a good stage for them...especial for Na Li... I will give my verdict after French Open.

she has a very strong bh comparable to Venus...
consistent serve (better than Dementieva's definitely)
and she's atheltic :)

when she destroyed Nicole Pratt at the Bejing WTA tournament
the latter was always shaking her head in disbelieve

she needs to prove her ability. 3 more months WTA tours would be helpful for her since she's just come back...

If she plays like she did against Kuznetsova in Beijing, Li Na stands a good chance because I think Kuzy is a better player than Patrova. That being said, she probably was close to her top skill level that day, so I give my vote to Petrova, althoug she is not always consistent. I think this one is a very tough call, especially since things at the beggining of the season are so hard to predict.

yes that is definitely true. I am just afraid that she will play like she did when she lost to Jie Zheng in Beijing $25K :banghead:

Go Na!!! If she plays like she can (and I know she will) I think she'll just outclass Petrova. GO NA!

Na Li 6-0, 6-1 or Petrova 6-0, 6-0. too close to call.
