Believe it or not yes they are. Except Georgia. The countries of the Middle East are Israel,Saudi Arabia,Uzbekistan,Afghanistan,Armenia,Azerbajian,C yprus,Iran,Iraq,Bahrain,Jordan Kuwait,Lebanon,Oman,Krygyzstan,Qatar,Pakistan,Taji kstan,Turkey,Syria,UAE,Turkey,Turkmenistan

But I gave him a lesson with my maps which proved that we were true that the Globe has seven continents.

Personally, I wouldn't say any of those countries are in the Middle East, but people are taught different things. I was taught:

- Israel is in the Near East, along with Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and some of the North African countries
- Uzbekistan is in Central Asia, along with Kyrgystan, Turkmenistan, Tajikstan and Kazakhstan
- Georgia and Turkey are in the Caucasus, along with Armenia and Azerbaijan.

- The Middle East is composed of Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Yemen and Oman.

That said, my favourite on the list is İpek Senoglu. I'm so glad to see a Turkish player finally make a breakthrough. :D I hope we will see the likes of Pemra Özgen, Çiğdem Duru and youngsters like Çağla Büyükakçay, follow in her footsteps. :D
