Thought it would be a good thing to have a progressive thread with all the results in it throughout the year . . like the mens one we have going so we dont start a news reults thread for each weeks tounrey . . and also have the challengers

Melinda Czink def Cindy Watson 6-1 7-5

Dec 31st, 2004, 02:11 AM
sophie was serving at 5-2 and choked

i can't believe she lost this match, what a missed chance!

i haven't heard for sure but im pretty sure Dani D lost as well!

That makes it 0-4

at least we will get one winner and hopefully casey can play well and win also

Dec 31st, 2004, 02:18 AM
Thats a shame !!

Both Sophie and Cindy could of gotten up ??

Still 3 girls left to play . . atleast we will win once !!

Dec 31st, 2004, 03:43 AM
maybe we might do better in the main draw!

Dec 31st, 2004, 03:50 AM
Adamczak def Kersten 6-3 6-2

still reckon that should of been Breadmore or Dubz or Trudi

Dec 31st, 2004, 05:05 AM
Auckland qualifying

Lauren Breadmore(AUS) v Rika Fujiwara(JPN)
Evie Dominikovic(AUS) v Amanda James(GBR)

Dec 31st, 2004, 05:59 AM
thats great news

explains why loz didnt get the wildcard given to kersten

good luck to both girls

it wouldn't suprise me if they both won but i'll just wait and see after my gold coast predictions

casey is @ 1 set all on serve mid way thru the 3rd

Dec 31st, 2004, 06:09 AM
Casey Dellacqua def Sandra Kloesel 2-6 6-3 7-6(4)

woohoo go Casey now plz beat Karatancheva and hopefully Mons can beat Sfar so we are guaranteed an aussie qualifier!

Dec 31st, 2004, 06:23 AM
Thats a great win by Casey . . Sesil is a harder task

good luck to her and Monique in the second round of qualies

Dec 31st, 2004, 06:31 AM
go aussies~!

Dec 31st, 2004, 10:55 AM
i heard dani lost 7-6 6-0? still a decent result considering played no 8 seed. if she won first set it couldve been a match

Dec 31st, 2004, 11:03 AM
so may "if" and "could've"

if sophie hadn't of choked she would have won
if daniella won the first set she might have won
if cindy won the second set she might have won
if szili took her chances in set 1 she would have won

sooooo bloody frustrating

Dec 31st, 2004, 02:43 PM
yes but its better than getting thrashed ;) atleadt we know they are playing decent and might just need some matches at wta level before they get going and start to capitalise on their chances.

looking forward to their results over next few tournaments.

Dec 31st, 2004, 08:35 PM
thats right

i mean the gap in the rankings in quite far with each of our girls like atleast 200+ places . . . . they were playin people ranked way above them and with maturity and experience comes the ability to close out a match and win those important points (look at alicia)

Dec 31st, 2004, 09:32 PM
Anyone watch Cindy Watson's match? If so, tell me what's going on with her! :cuckoo:

Dec 31st, 2004, 09:39 PM
Well maybe what's wrong with her, is that she isn't as good as the player she lost too...who is ranked about 160 odd spots higher mind you.

Interesting to see Lauren Breadmore get a WC into Auckland

Adriana always seems to lose these 3 setters in the lead up qualifying rounds. Good effort...but it's increasingly clear to me that she's simply not good enough.

Sophie  A spectacular choke.

Go Monique :yeah: Was as good as a bye, but a win's a win. Re Kersten getting the WC. She is a Queensland girl, so being a last minute addition it kind of makes sense to call on a local girl to fill an urgent spot.

Dec 31st, 2004, 11:59 PM
Its a shame about Sophie definately

but Cindy and Adriana were playing girls ranked way above them . . quite likely both we have atleast one more chance before the summer is out

Jan 1st, 2005, 02:42 AM

4-Evie Dominikovic (AUS) vs Amanda Janes (GBR)
WC-Tracey O'Connor (NZL) vs Angelika Bachman (GER)
WC-Lauren Breadmore (VIC) def Rika Fujiwara (JPN) 6-1 3-0 retired
7-Marie-Eve Pelletier (CAN) def Francesca Lubiani (ITA) 6-2 6-1

good luck lauren coz Pelletier will be very tough match hopefully she will keep getting enough balls back and pelletier will get pissed off. I'd love to see a Evie-Lauren match to see who qualifies

Jan 1st, 2005, 03:20 AM
if sophie hadn't of choked she would have wonYeah, Sophie was broken when serving for the match at 5-2, and then had 3 MPs at 5-4. It was very frustrating to watch

Jan 1st, 2005, 03:24 AM
Epigone, can we please have a report on the Aussie matches :)

Jan 1st, 2005, 03:52 AM

yeah a match report would be cool . . .

Jan 1st, 2005, 10:54 PM

Sprem (4) vs Stosur
Benesova vs WC-Welford
WC-Hewitt vs Koukalova
Q vs Pratt

Jan 2nd, 2005, 01:04 AM
NZ 1st round

Evie Dominikovic d. Amanda Janes 46 62 61

2nd rd
Marie-Eve Pelletier d. Lauren Breadmore 64 64

So Evie is into 2ns round and Lauren has a very very respectable scoreline !!

So thats great we have already had more winners in qualifying then last year !! CMON GIRLS LETS GET SOME MORE !!

Jan 2nd, 2005, 01:31 AM
Yeah not a bad effort from Lauren...she can certainly hit with the top 200 girls, so I reallyhope TA gives her a helping hand this summer. Her form has improved markedly the last couple months, but her ranking has dropped overall in the last year. For that reason, I'm sensing that TA might ignore her for an AO WC of any kind...hope I'm wrong.

Hopefully Evie can continue on and qualify.

Good luck to Tiffany today!!! Do your best

Jan 2nd, 2005, 02:36 AM
I think Evie can qualify

Jan 2nd, 2005, 02:45 AM

You have to be joking!!! After her performance at the Wildcard playoff they wouldnt dare not give her at worst a qualifying WC! If Tiffany or Jaslyn lose 6-0 6-0 or close to at Gold Coast Lauren could well steal a main draw WC!

Jan 2nd, 2005, 03:02 AM
Yeah and after all the last 2 years at OZ open she has won a Qualifying round so i reckon she has another in coming her way again

Jan 2nd, 2005, 04:01 AM
Iveta Benseova def Wc-Tiffany Welford 6-4 6-2

Jan 2nd, 2005, 04:20 AM
Not an embarassment by Tiffany but she is still miles off becoming a top 200 player. With all her family there and on home soil I thought she might have pushed Iveta more

Mateo Mathieu
Jan 2nd, 2005, 05:00 AM
Evie Dominikovic lost in second round of qualifying but don't know what was scores, though.

Jan 2nd, 2005, 05:32 AM
Very decent game by Tiff

as for Evie ???

Jan 2nd, 2005, 07:54 AM
is cupac playing anywhere?

Jan 2nd, 2005, 08:13 AM
yeah Syd Qualies and she got told she's a very good chance for some WC for Aust Open, most definitely a qualifying one unless she surprises at Syd

Jan 2nd, 2005, 11:23 AM
well done dubz

Jan 2nd, 2005, 09:55 PM
Thats great for Dubz

Jan 3rd, 2005, 12:55 AM

No I'm not joking. Christ, you make it sound like I'm making the decision that she shouldn't get one. I hope she DOES(!!!!!) get one, but wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't. It's just an observation I've made. TA rarely reward players that don't improve their ranking...

Typical loss fro Evie. Nice effort from Tiffany, but bad luck girl...better luck next week :hearts:

Jan 3rd, 2005, 02:20 AM

HHAHAHAHAH all the Sprem fans are really pissed off its funny.
I know! :haha: Don't know why they thinks Karolina would win  I mean, Samantha trained hard at White City last few weeks with the heat condition.

Anyway, make it semis again, Samantha! :armed:

Watson d Roesch 6-4 2-6 7-6

Jan 7th, 2005, 10:51 AM
i was at hobart all day today, here is my attempt at writing a few "match reports" :o

jennifer hopkins def lara picone 6-1, 6-1
lara didnt really have anything to hurt jennifer with, her forehand is too western and loopy, and she shanks it alot causing many errors off that side. her backhand and serve were quite good, but still plenty of room for improvement. she looked a bit overwhelmed on court and im sure she didnt play her best tennis today.

natalie grandin def adriana szili 7-5, 1-0 ret.
right from the start, adriana's left thigh was heavily strapped and she was hobbling around a bit in between points, but seemed to move okay during the points. i was far more impressed by adriana than the other 2 aussies. she is a good counterpuncher, and her backhand is a good weapon. she is a bit defensive on her forehand tho. adriana lept out to a 5-1, 30-0 lead on her serve b4 the choking began. she served a DF and made a few stupid errors. grandins game was basically moonball her forehand and slice her backhand, and at the beginning adriana handled it really well. then she got impatient and before i knew it was 5-5 and she called for the trainer. she soon retired down 7-5, 1-0. although she was obviously in discomfort, the injury was no excuse for the losing the first set imo.

martina muller def emily hewson 6-2, 6-3
emily was just blown away pretty much, she has no weapons at all. i was surprised she managed to get the amount of games she did. one thing, she was up 40-0 on her serve some time in the second set, and randomly threw in a few serve and volleys forthe first time in the match, and subsequently lost the game. she could of easily got 4 games in the second set if she continued to play her normal game, which would have been a quite respectable scoreline.

a pretty horrible day, im glad cindy won. hoping to b blown away by kate pinchbeck tomorrow! oh yea and i saw a really good looking tanned blonde chick in the players lounge, just thought it was another european player but looked at her name tag to find it was dani d! shes much better looking than her sister :p

Jan 7th, 2005, 11:56 AM
hell yeah dani is hot as!

Jan 7th, 2005, 07:39 PM

Thanks Mr M

Jan 8th, 2005, 03:57 AM
Overall, a pretty ordinary performance as per usual from the qualies WC recipients. Some encouraging results by a few; Adriana Szili really should have won that first set with ease , and Shayna McDowell gave a great match against Antonella S-Z to lose in 3.

Pinchbeck lost 4-6 1-6 to Drake after leading the first set 4-2...

Cindy Watson just got crunched by Silvija Talaja 2-6 1-6.

...and after losing the first set 0-6, Jaslyn Hewitt won the second 7-6 and took Selima Sfar to a final set TB (unconfirmed result!)...we don't know the actual result yet :o A very encouraging performace and it will do her WC chances for AO the world of good.

This week in main draw action we see Sophie, Lauren, Monique, Casey and Daniella who would be looking to impress for their final shot at a WC to the main draw. I'd say Sophie is the only one of the 5 that is an almost certainity.

Jan 8th, 2005, 04:18 AM
Cindy's match went for over 1.5 hours! Obviously a lot of long rallies. Silvia must have been extremely patient!

Jan 8th, 2005, 04:19 AM
No Comment of Tiffanys effort? :p Even Megan Price did better LOL

Jan 8th, 2005, 04:48 AM
The less said about Tiffany's result the better methinks :o

I can't wait to see how the girls playing in the MD of the lead ups go over the next few days...should make things really interesting. Tiffany shot herself in the foot with her pathetic effort this week, whilst someone like Jaslyn really put their hand up. Should be interesting!!

Jan 8th, 2005, 10:01 AM
problem with cindy is that even my own pace off my fh is faster than hers...her consistency is superb as is her movement and tennis smarts tho

its still great that she beat roesch but i saw most of the match and it looked like angelica is a major head case!

Jan 8th, 2005, 12:31 PM
Jaslyn :o blowing 4mp :retard: :o up 6-5 00-40 and 1 adv ad loses

Jan 8th, 2005, 12:49 PM
Go dear Jasyln!!!

Jan 8th, 2005, 07:57 PM
It was a close match though so Jaslyn should be proud

Just about everyone here should have a kinda respectable scoreline . . needless to say that MD WC for OZ open will be decided on how some of these people go !!

Jan 9th, 2005, 12:44 AM
Casewy will get her ass whopped by Alina hope not though

Jan 9th, 2005, 01:43 AM

omfg go beti u r da bomb :):) and cindy ;) hope this encourages beti to keep playing!!!!!!!!

Jan 9th, 2005, 06:20 AM
Excellent stuff from Evie....she usually bombs out in the first round of qualies at most WTA tournaments so this is encouraging...she lost a tight one to Sanchez Lorenzo here last year I think, so hopefully she can get revenge.

Jan 9th, 2005, 07:13 AM
Great For Doubles !!!!

On Ya Cindy And Beti !!!

Jan 9th, 2005, 09:18 AM
omg  its about time our wc's did something :D

Jan 9th, 2005, 11:22 AM
Thats soooooooooo crazy about Jaslyn. So annoyin! But as long as she can take from it that she IS capable of winning. Hopefully then she'll be confident and play the points.

Congrats Evie and goodluck to ALL the grls this week!

Jan 9th, 2005, 11:45 AM
i got told that beti played great today. she volleyed well and hit the ball quite hard...:) hope shje decides to keep playing tennis

Jan 9th, 2005, 10:14 PM
Excellent stuff from Evie....she usually bombs out in the first round of qualies at most WTA tournaments so this is encouraging...she lost a tight one to Sanchez Lorenzo here last year I think, so hopefully she can get revenge.Good memory TS!
Sanchez Lorenzo def Evie 6/7 6/4 6/0 in same match last year.
Evie MUST seek revenge! :armed:

Jan 10th, 2005, 01:16 AM
we must also remember that evie sustained an injury mid way through the second set vs lorenzo in that match so she was on top and hopefully will get on top of her again.

Thanks god evie has a day to rest!

Jan 10th, 2005, 05:59 AM
Stewart/Stosur d Raymond/Stubbs (1) 1-6 7-6 6-4

Jan 10th, 2005, 06:55 AM
The girls played top doubles !!!

Jan 10th, 2005, 06:57 AM
What a great day for Aussies doubles wise.

Interesting that Lisa and Rennae have teamed again. Is it for the year?? Interesting if they remain together after a few losses tho!

Huber and McShea should be a solid combination - tho i was disappointed that Sequera and Lisa split after a great partnership in 2004. However Huber isn't a bad pickup.

Jan 10th, 2005, 07:56 AM
gr8 results there in the dublz add to that sophies good singles match and the fact that

dellacqua is up 75 54*

aussie attack of the choke stays away!

Jan 10th, 2005, 08:50 AM
Casey Dellacqua def Alina Jidkova 7-5 6-4

great win for casey!
that seals her main draw wildcard i hope!

Jan 10th, 2005, 08:52 AM
Yeah, one would think that will get her in :) What a fantastic win...finally, she gets her maiden WTA victory :)

Jan 10th, 2005, 09:23 AM
Well done Casey good win now go and win the next one!

Jan 11th, 2005, 06:47 AM
Beautiful !!!

Absolutley Awesome !!!

Jan 11th, 2005, 07:03 AM
In Canberra

Evie beat Sanchez Lorenzo 63 62  :D wow! I knew she'd win this match with all those matches she's played lately, compared to Maria who is lacking match play...

Pratty lost to Fedak 0-6 3-6 :o I wonder if the knee was bothering her? That's an awful loss in the Aussie summer for her...however, in a pre match interview she said she was OK, even talking up her chances of winning this thing ;)

Casey lost to Na Li 7-6 6-0 in Hobart round 2

Jan 11th, 2005, 07:45 AM
Thats great for Evie !!

and a lesser extent Casey for sticking with Na Li in the first set

Poor Pratty . . a bit match shy GET BETTER SOON !!!

Jan 11th, 2005, 10:10 AM
Evie :yeah:

Jan 11th, 2005, 10:24 AM
Nice work Evie

Jan 11th, 2005, 11:45 AM
Casye had her chances in first set and when she lost the tie break she lost her concentration and the shots went right off, but this shows what she is capable of!

Dellacqua/Sewell def Hsieh/Li (sweet revenge) 7-5 5-7 7-5

wasted a match pt in 2nd set at 54 but a win is a win!

Evie :rocker:

Jan 12th, 2005, 12:09 AM
Casey had a set point against Na Li at 5-3 in the 1st set!

Jan 12th, 2005, 02:19 AM

Terrible draw for Sam, but I do think we should look at the positive side of things. If she loses, then she can at least say she lost to the world no 2! Will be a great experience for her, and she has absolutely nothing to lose...if she drew a lower ranked player the pressure to win would be much higher obviously.

Evie has a good draw, I hope she can take advantage, but Santangelo will be looking to defend her mammoth points from last year...Sophie has a winnable match, but Nuria loves these courts...Casey is in with a chance to trouble Kostanic, but I dont expect a win by any stretch...Cindy will have her hands fulls with big hitting Sania Mirza, but it could've been worse, so she's in with a shot...Welford has a chance to knock off a rusty and retiring Schett but I don't expect she'll win, they've played before (2 years ago) and Schett won 64 62, here's hoping Tiffany can do better this time...Pratt has a horrid draw, I dont expect she'll get past Jankovic....as for Monique, well she has absolutely nothing to lose! I hope she just goes out there and enjoys herself, and hopefully she can catch Sprem on an off day...I just hope she is competitive...Alicia should get through no worries.

Overall, a shitty draw for the girls :(

Jan 14th, 2005, 04:49 AM
Not good! And Amelie will be 'up' for the match too, knowing the form Sam is in. Im hoping for an upset - but can see Amelie winning it and then losing or getting injured when it most counts, probably in the semis.

However Sam (and for that matter Alicia) is at a point in her career when she shouldn't hoping for a kind draw and must realise these things happen. The way to make it a good draw is to win the match - and they are both capable of taking it upto anyone.

Nicole hasn't lost a first rounder at Aus for years - thats the only thing Im banking on here because form (even over the last 6 months) for Nicole hasn't been great.

Jan 14th, 2005, 07:37 AM

Imagine if Sekulowski/Watson had won the 3rd set 6-3 over Stosur/Stewart instead of losing it. They would have then won the Sydney Doubles Tournament :o Now that would have been funny hehehe

Jan 14th, 2005, 11:14 AM

And Monique lost 6-2 6-1 :(

Lauren Breadmore reached the final of the doubles at the $50K event in Waikoloa with Japan's Ayami Takase. Unfortunately they lost to top seeds Nathalie Grandin (beat Loz in singles as well the biatch! :fiery: ) and Kaysie Smashey 3-6 4-6. Great effort for Lauren and the ranking points will be very handy! hopefully she gets some decent cash to cover her travel!

WTA Pattaya Dubles Qualifying Final Round

Monique Adamczak/Nicole Kriz level with Ivana Abramovic/Villmarie Castellvi 5-7 6-3 0-0

Natasha Kersten was top seed at 10K wellington qualies and was only aussie to get through to main draw! :yippee:

Bojana Bobusic, Abby Hedges, Jessica Schaer, Sarah Benad and Danielle Kypreos all lost in the Qualifying Round (R2) to seeded opponents!

Lauren Breadmore has not withdrawn and was in wellington today for sign-in
The lady at the tournament said she thought Lauren was playing with Shelley Stephens in the doubles, Bobusic is playing with Dzeidzic, don't know how accurate this is as the woman said she wasn't 100% sure as doubles sign-in hadn't closed when i rang!

You think it's shocking that Adriana lost to Marina?

I think it's shocking she managed to take a set off her.

What's not shocking is that she managed to blow a 6-3 5-2 lead...that is typical Adriana.

Feb 3rd, 2005, 02:31 AM
I'll second that!

from talking to Casey Dellacqua, Adriana has had this habbit from when she was in juniors as well!

it's about bloody time someone gave her a kick up the arse so she can realize if she wants to be top 300/200 she has got to learn that getting a lead in a match is not good enough you have to bloody win them or you may as well as not bother!

Adriana will never reach the top 300...I'd actually be surprised if she cracks the top 400. She just simply doesn't have enough game.

Feb 3rd, 2005, 05:48 AM
Keep going Lauren !!

I saw her against Dani D at the Aus Open - she has nothing, no power, no strokemaking ability. Her speed around the court is the only asset.

Thats cos Els is an old hag! She was hopeless at the Aust Open! Lisa definitely needs to find a new partner!

Feb 4th, 2005, 01:31 AM
els completely sucks at singles but can still hold her own in doubles, encouraging scoreline considering there other results together.

Feb 4th, 2005, 01:31 AM
Trudi and Lisa would be good cause when they play challengers they could play singles aswell

Feb 4th, 2005, 02:40 AM
Trudi and Lisa have played a few times together before and have done pretty well from memory. From what i have seen of their games they would combine well and they can both play all court games on all surfaces.

As for Lisa playing singles, i don't think we are going to see that!

Is Bryanne Stewart ever going to play singles at Challenger/WTA level ever again?
I would rellay like to see that, coz she has potential to be top 200 in singles. She would get into half the wta events (qualies) that her and sam play together. I would really like to see her back playing singles again maybe later this year!

Feb 4th, 2005, 02:49 AM

Feb 4th, 2005, 06:42 AM
Great that both girls got to the semis but shit they have to play each other now!

i don't know who to support, i thin i will go with lauren, i reckon if she can win here and pick up another few wins next week it would boost her confidence for the rest of the year and hopefully she can crack the top 300

im getting a bit ahead of myself but it would be great to have
alicia, sam, nicole and evie in french and wimbledon main draw and then have
sophie, casey, lauren plus maybe wheeler, welford, adamczak in quals

Feb 13th, 2005, 01:30 AM
Three consecutive finals in 3 weeks for Mireille!

She won the money event thrashing Leanne 6-1 6-1, then lost to Leanne last week, now hopefully she can win this week!

Feb 13th, 2005, 08:51 AM
Mireille lost the final to Kyung-Mi Chang 5-7 6-3 7-6(2) :fiery: :fiery:

Mireille since July 2003 has played 16 tiebreakers and has lost 14 of them!!!!!!!!

That is a horrific stat and is the sole reason her singles rank has doubled from the low 200's to 440's! At least with her 13-2 win loss the last three weeks, not only has she earnt some precious prizemoney, but it will push her back up 40 places to 405. A good start to the year but she led 1 set to love in both finals and lost concentration which isnt good.

Feb 13th, 2005, 09:39 AM
Mirielle is very similar to me

swears very loudly and frequently on court
chokes after winning the first set frequently in tight & big matches
has a pathetic record in tiebreakers
but yet plays nearly every week of the year!

maybe i should start winning some more tb's and that might help her too! LOL

Feb 13th, 2005, 10:09 AM
sounds the same as me
except i dont play much anymore

Feb 13th, 2005, 08:42 PM
It's unlucky for Mirelle especially since she has lost all those tie breaks . . Good Luck for the rest of the season and heopfully she can turn her final form around

Feb 14th, 2005, 12:02 AM
I wouldnt say that Mireille chokes, I think that she is just playing too careful and not aggressively enough in the tiebreakers! From the match report, Kyung-Mi Chang played aggressively really going for her forehands in the tiebreaker and hit many forehand winners. Mireille shouldve been more aggressive and tried to play to her backhand

Feb 14th, 2005, 12:36 AM
Sam still not back on the tour she was meant to play memphis and has also withdrawn from the usta event the following week in st paul.

i presume its her stomach muscle or is it something else?

wonder why Bryanne doesn't go over and play with someone else, her and jidkova did well at memphis before reaching the final from memory but maybe she only wants to play with sam

When is Bryanne making her singles comeback?

Feb 14th, 2005, 04:46 AM
Bryanne mentioned that she was thinking about trying to comeback in the Aussie challengers after the Oz open . . . but perhaps she is thinking gonig over to America

maybe gonna travel with Trudi ??? Be a good Doubles team aswell

Feb 14th, 2005, 02:26 PM

Sam, Nicole and.... drumroll.... BRYANNE STEWART are playing in Doha qualies. All have tough draws. Bryanne plays Stephanie Foretz - Sam should be right until rnd 3 when she will most likely play Kirilenko :tape: she'll prolly get lucky loser anway - Pratt has 2 EASY matches before playing Douchevina, but knowing pratty she wont win rnd 1

Also, doesnt Bendigo start Monday??? Does anyone have entry lists or anything? Hope Sophie's playing

Feb 20th, 2005, 01:03 AM

EVIE VS DANIELA! that should be a good one. Huge chances for the Aussie girls here, Cindy VS Olivia should be interesting aswell!

Feb 21st, 2005, 09:43 PM
dont like that draw

Feb 21st, 2005, 10:20 PM
I think Evie will roll over lil sis....Christina H will get smacked....Mireille will be too match tough for Beti...Cindy too steady for Liv...Lauren will give Sophie fits and it will go on for hours, with Sophie getting through...Casey to beat Shayna in two...Emily will get beat...Trudi to get over TJ in 3...Adriana to scrape through in a battle...Monique to tough out a win...and Dubz, well who knows, I'll predict a win for her.

Let's see how I go ;)

Feb 21st, 2005, 11:20 PM
I pretty much agree with your predictions TS! I still think the Lauren/Sophie, Beti/Mireille and Trudi/Tiffany matches could all go either way.

Will be interesting to see how Dubz plays after her last performance. A lots happened to her since Aust Open with her quitting the AIS and getting engaged!

Feb 22nd, 2005, 01:32 AM
Evie over Daniela in 2, Christina will go down easily, Mirielle will just scrape a win over beti, TRudi will beat Tiff in 3, Sophie is gona have to really play well and be agressive to get over lauren in 3, I think Shayna will get a set of Casey before Casye finds her form, Adriana Str8 sets win, Monique str8 sets win, Emily and Hori will have a mini comp to see who can win the most games i think poor em is heading for a hiding here, dubz is so unpredictable but i reckon she can win in 3 here. Cindy vs Liv OMG this will be match of the day i reckon with Cindy being to steady in a very tight third set

My prediction for the doubles
