Hi,
since the new season will start very soon, I would be interested in knowing your objective opinions about how your mates will do. Who will rise in the rankings, who will fall down? Who will win many titles and who not? Anything you expect for the next year is welcome here, not only for you, but also for all other players. :)

Ooh, the pressure!

Seriously though, I don't think I'll be ranked that high. Too inconsistent. I'm just aiming for the Top 20! :bounce:

Great thread Saschas :wavey:

2005 will be interesting an year I think. I'm excited about Mr_Molik, he had a wonderful finish to 2004 and I wonder if he will be able to keep the form going into 2005, especially with the Australasia season coming up first :)

I think a number of regular PAWers who are highly committed to the game will enjoy success too, for example sandg, SpikeyAidanm, Hantuchov, jrm and WTA Handicapper etc ;)

I think Saschas (Crazillo) and raquel will produce some good results. Saschas already has a grandslam to his name, but I feel he has a lot more to come yet, especially if he plays a full schedule this year. raquel had some close battles at the top in some of 2004's tournaments, and I have faith that she can go the extra mile and notch a title or two :p

Expect bionic71 to hover around the top all year round, and the legendary spencercarlos to have some magic moments :)

There's a number of players who I think could do so much more, like New and alwayshingis. They are regular players whose dynamite has yet to ignite, but I have faith it will. I also look forward to the return of Philip, and I will also be keeping my eye out for mypapa_je who had a spectacular conclusion to 2004.

As for me, I will be employing a strict strategy :p I have a number of new year's PAW resolutions which I intend to retain for a while. My main concerns are the tier 1 tournaments in which I will be defending a lot of points for (ie Tokyo, Rome, Indian Wells etc). My attentions are now primarily focused on Australia, I will ease myself into the game again at the Hopman Cup where I will proudly represent Great Britain with the lovely raquel :p Then the week after will be my 1st anniversary of PAW  Last year I started playing in Canberra, but unfortunately I will not be returning in 2005, as I be in Sydney. Then I am looking forward to the Australian Open. Melbourne isn't like any other slam, in that it's so early in the year, and with little practice beforehand, anything can happen to any player. I will be aiming for a top ten finish, but I'm warning you all, I am hunting my first grand slam  :wavey:
