Dumb.

Sorry, but it's true. The assumption isn't true, but it's true that that's what I think. I grew up with a friend who was from Germany, and he loved "dumb Pollack" (sp) jokes. It's something I need to get over ;)

Where I used to live in Jersey had lots of Polish Americans and all they ever did was tell "Dumb Polack" jokes themselves.

So that's what I think of...

Second thought is the Blitzkrieg (sp). Russia and Germany really let y'all have it. :tape:

The weather in Poland is not so cold, it's december and today it was 6 Celsius in my town, no snow, just rain :)
And Polish language is not so hard. Is "Grzegorz Brzeczyszczykiewicz" really so hard to read??? ;) :p
It's easier than you think, you read "cz" like "ch", "sz" like "sh" and "rz" like French "j", it's not so easier than it seems:)

nobody mentioned kislowky? y'all should be ashamed of yourselves :fiery:A new movie is being made based on a a script from his trilogy ("Hell", which is a sequel to, well, "Heaven" with Cate Blanchett). The director is the guy who shot "No Man's Land". I even saw an interview on the IMDB board, but I can't read Bosnian.

Oh, and Emmanuelle Beart stars, or co-stars, as it takes place in France?

My impressions are positive...my Grandad is Polish, so I always feel an affinity for them. :)

He emigrated to Brazil when young, but when the call went out to Poles around the world after the invasion of Poland in WW2, he came to England to help in the war effort with the RAF. He met my Gran, and then after the war they remained here.

With the Grandparent qualifying rule, I guess Im eligible to play for Polish sports teams...Im not bad at Cricket if they ever have a Polish team! ;)
