Tis the night before Christmas, and as the Russian Girls go to bed
will they be dreaming of tennis or what Santa will bringThem instead?
just what would they have asked of that man whiskered and old?
they should get special delivery to that land northern and cold

The number one Russian dreams of a beautiful gold broach
that has engraved on it 'I must not swear at My coach'

another with a blonde plait wishes She'd had the nerve
to sit on Santa's knee, and ask for a new serve

As Nadya drops off, She wishes in Her stocking for sure
She'll find an early win, on next years WTA Tour

and as Bepa looks at Her presents, She'll sigh with relief
as She unwraps a big tube of calmness, and a bottle of self belief

What could Bovina ask for, If She was so bold?
as She awakes in the morning, with Her feet hanging out in the cold
a longer bed would be good,or bedsocks but then
She'd much rather have a place in the top ten

How about young Safina, Who some call Oafette?
has She reached Her potential? not by a long way, not yet
if old Santa asked Her, She'd make Her top wish quite clear
that She would like to unwrap a much better next year

The mighty young Masha, as She dons Her nightgown
wants a re-tune for Her Father, just get Him toned down

Kuzzy will sleep without dreaming, She's had a pretty good year
She just wants Her braces off, and a smile white and clear

There is so many I've missed the list is quite shocking
I just hope They all get something good, in Their xmas stocking!

merry xmas
