WEST PALM BEACH – Get ready to see some tennis star power today between 1-3 p.m. at BallenIsles Country Club.
Venus Williams is in town and ready to pump up the crowd for the exciting Bernstein USTA $50,000 Women’s Challenger finals weekend. For a $10 donation, you can join Venus on the court and try to return one of her famous serves, for $20 you get 3 shots – a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Venus, the elder of the famous sister team, has a record breaking serve of 127 miles per hour. BallenIsles Country Club is proud to be donating proceeds from Return the Serve to The Arc of Palm Beach County.
Don’t miss your chance to go up against one of the world’s best tennis stars. Tickets for entry to the BallenIsles hosted tournament are $10 on Dec. 4-5. To order your tickets call 561-625-5707. Photo Identification or Driver’s License must be presented at the gate for entrance to BallenIsles.
Williams joins this exhilarating event to promote young players as well as V Starr Interiors, her signature interior design firm based in Jupiter that she started in 2002.
Monies raised from this event will benefit The Arc of Palm Beach County, which in the past year has helped nearly 2,000 families through programs to support and assist children and adults with developmental and mental disabilities.
The Bernstein USTA $50,000 Women’s Challenger Tennis Tournament is a professional women’s tennis event which runs through Sunday. All of the women will be playing for $50,000 in prize money to be presented to them by executive director for The Arc, Joyce Laird.
