I don't know. I would prefer Martina having some brilliant player and finishing her career in fashion. I am not sure if it is going to work. Anyway, Good Luck Danka and Martina!

That would be good for Dani. Kuznetsova's career really took off after playing doubles with Martina - she was a grand slam champion a year later.

Hope some of Martina's wisdom and knowledge would rub off on Dani and she will take the world by storm again.

Martina is indeed playing with Daniela for the year, but Martina is also playing in Auckland the same week Daniela is playing Hopman Cup with Dominik Hrbaty.

Anyone know who Martina is playing with there? The only logical choice I can think is Vento Kabchi or Danilidou, as those two are the only decent doubles players in the entire field. Or is this a singles attempt by Martina?

It's a good pairing for Daniela, there's much that she can learn from a great champion. Hopefully Navratilova can give Daniela some mental confidence.

daniela is a pretty good doubles partner. she's got a good serve, volleys well, and can return pretty hard. they should be pretty good together, and hopefully it can propel dani back to the top 10.

This bodes well for Dani. I thik it will be a great team. I have a feeling those two will click together quite nicely.:)

Martina Navratilova used to be Daniela's mentor when the latter began on pro tour.

I wish it would be Paola Suarez/ Martina Navratilova. Both can play hard courts, Paola can play clay, both can play grass, both suck on carpet though :lol:
