I don't know. I would prefer Martina having some brilliant player and finishing her career in fashion. I am not sure if it is going to work. Anyway, Good Luck Danka and Martina!

P.S Good Luck also in singles Danka!

Dani is a brilliant player, she has amazing feel at the net, great serve, you could not find a much better doubles partner.

Which is why Daniela hasn't reached a semi in any tournament in doubles this year and has lost at least 7-8 times in the 1st round in it :tape:

well first off, it's Hantuchova
and secondly, they would make an awesome pair :worship:

hopefully Martina can mould Daniela into a top player, as she was before. :)

Really hope they do well!
It would be such a treat to have Martina back on tour....but that's wishful thinking, I guess.

pfft forget Dani, Martina. WIth Martina Jr. attempting a comeback, play with her then you can say you've played with all the greatest doubles players. :D

That would be good for Dani. Kuznetsova's career really took off after playing doubles with Martina - she was a grand slam champion a year later.

Hope some of Martina's wisdom and knowledge would rub off on Dani and she will take the world by storm again.

Martina is indeed playing with Daniela for the year, but Martina is also playing in Auckland the same week Daniela is playing Hopman Cup with Dominik Hrbaty.

Anyone know who Martina is playing with there? The only logical choice I can think is Vento Kabchi or Danilidou, as those two are the only decent doubles players in the entire field. Or is this a singles attempt by Martina?

It's a good pairing for Daniela, there's much that she can learn from a great champion. Hopefully Navratilova can give Daniela some mental confidence.

sounds good :)

daniela is a pretty good doubles partner. she's got a good serve, volleys well, and can return pretty hard. they should be pretty good together, and hopefully it can propel dani back to the top 10.

Martina Navratilova used to be Daniela's mentor when the latter began on pro tour.

This is awesome... I hope its true though! Daniela is playing better if shes with respected player. I hope Martina will serve as her motivator. Daniela has a great talent, she just need to realize it and have to start believing in herself. God bless you both! Kick ass in 2005

I wish it would be Paola Suarez/ Martina Navratilova. Both can play hard courts, Paola can play clay, both can play grass, both suck on carpet though

playing with martina should be really good for dani, if a year with martina cant fix her up then nothing can.
