Myskina to reach #1 ranking before Roland Garros

Myskina or Sharapova will reach 1# ranking
4 slams of 2005 will be claimed by Myskina, Kuznetsova, Demetieva,Sharapova or Bovina.Petrova and Zvonareva will clinch at least 2 slam doubles titles.
Of course Russia will still remain the champoins of Fed Cup and will reach 1# ranking soon ;)

I expect all of them to improve. Then whatever happens, it's destiny.

Hi Lovely Stranger. :wavey: There just has to be a Russina #1 in 2005 and maybe even 2 Russina's will make it to #1 on the WTA computer. :)

I think the most important part of 2005 success will be for more Russians to move into the top 50.
I'd like to see 20 Russians in the top 50.
Zhenya, who is 18 today:D :bounce: , Vera D., Lina K., Kirilenko, Anna C., Panova, Alina, those are just a few.

Lets hope the Russian success stories continue, but that they improve and can really hang with Lindsay, Belgians and Williams.

And I have bias for Elena D to pick up a Slam title en route! :)

Right now there are 4 Russians in the top 6, 7 in the top 15.
It will be hard to improve on that.
I'd like to see a Russian at world #1.:bounce: That's next.
And if a Russian wins the AO, it's a Russian slam.:D

Of Course the complete Russian Slam was completed a little while ago ;) when Masha won Wimby.
But there's a chance to hold all 4 at once.

AUS-Kafelnikov
RG-Kafelnikov, Myskina
WIM-Sharapova
US-Safin, Kuznetsova

Marat Safin really should at last win the Aus Open next year. He's going to be 25, he should be at his peak and surface at Aus Open suits his serve and game.

Myskina to add 1 more Slam title

Elena D to win the French Open and US Open.

Maria Sharapova to defend her Wimbledon title.

Maria Kirilenko to make major step up into top 20.

Nadia Petrova to at least win her first title.

Fed Cup stays in Russia for the 2nd time.

Hmmm...interesting question. I highly doubt that three of the four GS will go to a russian again, that year was just too good to be true, still I think that Nastya will make it to number one before by the time the clay season is running, at least for a few weeks before grass tourneys hit off.

I have the feeling that there will be a great Masha/Nastya fight next year (ON COURT please!).

AusOpen pretty sure goes to a russian and maybe FO, doubt the other two.

Gee Bubble, why don't you ask for alot from the Russina's in 2005? ;) I just hope the Russina's continue their move upward in the tennis world in 2005. :)

I hope several different Russians reach world #1.
The same way 3 have won majors.
I'd like to see some new breakthroughs. Lena D., Vera, and Nadia are very close. And Lena B.
They all deserve that chance to hold a major title.
