Does anybody know what she's committed to next year. I wonder which tournaments she'll pic, since she can't play a full schedule. So does anybody know?

How many more events can she play before turning 17 which is after AO. If 1, I'm thinking of Sydney. I'm sure she'll play Paris Indoor and definately more tourneys next year, meaning more Tati. Oh yay.

Im sure Tati and the french team will beat the netherlands. She played a pretty smart schedule this year mixing the bigger events with some smaller ones so i hope its more of the smae nest year. It would be awesome if she came to sydney but a doubt it.

looks like she entered antwerp so her schedule is probably set through april.

after AO, then Paris and Antwerp. this is a guess but then a two week break before Indian Wells and Miami.

Amélie Mauresmo (FRA/2eme mondiale)
Maria Sharapova (RUS/4)
Elena Dementieva (RUS/6)
Serena Williams (USA/7)
Nadia Petrova (RUS/12)
Alicia Molik (AUS/13)
Karolina Sprem (CRO/18)
Silvia Farina Elia (ITA/20)
Nathalie Dechy (FRA/21)
Magdalena Maleeva (BUL/25)
Jelena Jankovic (SEM/28)
Mary Pierce (FRA/29)
Anna Smashnova (ISR/32)
Eleni Daniilidou (GRE/34)
Jelena Kostanic (CRO/35)
Iveta Benesova (RTC/36)
Flavia Pennetta (ITA/38)
Anabel Medina Garrigues (ESP/39)
Marion Bartoli (FRA/41)

I really hope they forgot her, I wanted to go there to see her!!
Please tell it's just a mistake!!!

you're right. i also saw her name mentioned on their website earlier.

i still think she'll play since paris is her hometown now and she had such a good result last year. if she doesn't play, it might be because of her limited schedule (2 tournaments already played in australia) and she'll play roland garros later in the year. hope you get to see her!

I think her schedule is set through the French Open. She'll play Charleston and then Fed Cup. Then a couple of weeks off and I think she'll play Rome. And she's confirmed for Strasbourg the week before the FO. Tati will probably be one of the top seeds in Strasbourg!

good for tati that she plays a lower tourney so she can get her first win, tho that might make her too tired for a deep run at the french

Well, I don't think she should. Unless she struggles through every match in Strasbourge, which she shouldn't

I've heard that Tati may not play Birlin(TatiAnaholic)

I hope that's not true cause imo think that's not enough. If she only played 2 red clay court tournies leading up to the French, that doesn't seem enough to me at all :(

She is not on the entry for Berlin.
There is not an entry list for Rome yet.
She is on the entry list for Strasbourg.

rseto
Apr 19th, 2005, 11:25 PM
I think 2 red clay tournaments is enough if she plays Strasbourg. She should be one of the top seeds there so she'll get some matches in. Also I'm not sure if she should play three straight weeks before the FO; that could be a heavy load if she advances deep into the tournaments.

tennisrulz8
Apr 20th, 2005, 03:52 AM
I think those two clay tournaments are good choices. She wouldn't want to play three weeks in a row. especially before Roland Garros.

It looks like Tati is committed to Birmingham after the FO.

http://www.lta.org.uk/News/BritishNews/050429TennisDfs.htm (On a different note, I hope she brings back the bright red cap with the all white outfit this year. :hearts: )

After that, it's probably straight to Wimbledon.

Tati is on the entry list for San Diego, and im guessing she will probally play in Canada too because last year she made the quarters.

Shedule for the summer: San Diego, Toronto, New Haven, and US Open

Should be interesting; Both San Diego and Toronto have amazing entry lists with most of the top 20 playing. Hopefully Tati can sneak into the top 16 seeds at those events. I expect a number of players to withdraw especially from Toronto. The entry list isn't out for New Haven yet, but giving the amount of press she did at the tournament last year I'm pretty certain she'll be back.

So you're still planning to go even though dani won't be there? :( :) She probably needs a week off after playing so many events early in the summer.

Back to Tati, it'll be tough with the deep fields but i'm hoping she can have a good run at either San Diego or Toronto.

Looks to be a nice choice of tournaments.
I'm really looking forward to Tati's run in North America, I think it really suits her there.
Any news on her injury?
