:worship: good on ya girl!
i'll tell u a story, from my point of view, as a person who's best friend is a lesbian:maybe it will help ya...
so my best friend had to do that too and they were very stressed about it! so what a relieve it must be for u... even if it was my best friend who had the come out to do..i was as stressed about it as she was!
i remember the day she told me about being a lesbian...she thought i was gonna react like really strange..and was so happy when i just told her that she was my friend and that didn't change coz she was a lesbian!
so i hope your friends react like they should be and know that u're still the same person!
well i could say that everybody acctually responded very well to it...with the exeption of some people just not willing to exept her...but i guess u'll always have people thinking diffrently about it! i still like my friend and it hasn't changed coz she told me she was a lesbian! i tried to help her..coz no matter what they say...it's never easy 'coming out the closet' i saw what it did to my friend...and she had a great deal of support!

so hope u'll have a good experience about it and may u be lucky enough to have friends that stay and don't turn their back on ya....
may u have a life full of love and happiness ;)

all credit to you. that must have been tough. whether they accept it or not, you should be proud of yourself. now you can be who you really are

Nov 16th, 2004, 07:57 PM
tanx everybody, it has been great to read that so many people wish me best of luck!
And yes, they responded good (I told to this guy I know that I like girls and he said " oh, me too")
I've already had some bad experience with telling people, this actually the second group of friends I told, because the first dumbed me like garbage.
So I was really nervous, but feel good now, only a bit sad I couldn't introduce anyone...

Congratulations but there is no shame to be a lesbian, homosexual, bi-sexual or transexual... If you enjoy your life so : It's the most important thing for you !

Your mother is maybe shocked : That's understandable but with the time she will accept what you are : I hope it for you. You are still her daughter. If I had a daughter or a son who would tell me she/he is homo or bi-sexual, I will have no problem with that.
The key word is and will always will be : Happiness at my side. I hope now you will find the girl of your life !

Congratulations! Hope you meet someone worthy of introducing to your friends soon. As has been said, maybe your family need time to get used to the 'new' you. If they can't, make your own family.
