As many of you in the US probably know, TV personality Star Jones is getting married tomorrow in NYC to Al Reynolds. I don't know what he does, but I know there have been rumors about him being gay. I also know who will be marrying them; he is the pastor at my church.

Thank god it'll be over.

I love the fact that she is now a WEDDING SPECIALIST per Lifetime. They are doing some show about surprise engagments and they're like join Star the 'specialist.'

She gets married and she's a specialist?!? Cmon now!:lol:

Sadly I did not receive an invite to the weddingI did, Sal, and Carole Anne and I laughed for like 3 hours on what was funnier, the thought of her actually thinking I might attend, or her actually thinking I might send a gift. I sold the awful thing on e-Bay and I regifted a crome cigarette box once sent to me by a fan.

I was just going to go for the gift baskets she's handing out. It's not like I give a shit if she's marrying a gay guy or not. You know... whatever floats your boat.

Sal, if I had known, I would have given you the ticket. I only got $.50 for it on E-Bay, though my standard flat fee of $20.00 for shipping and handling usually turns even a dud item into a windfall for me.

Star had this thing on the invitation, "Non-Transferable." But they're not going to turn down Sally Struthers at the reception, know what I mean?

Star was being totally bitchy with the invitations telling people what to wear and that they were non transferable and not to bring kids but I saw on her on the View before she got into trouble for plugging companies who donated to her and she was giving away nice stuff. Of course I could go get all of it myself or have Maria Consuela (my personal assistant) do it for me but the thrill of getting something for free is just a big rush for me.

Can't wait for it to be over GOOD Lord!!!  Today The View was in her and the husband to be honor. Frankly she was overdressed. The woman thinks she is Cinderella :haha: Yesterday it looked like she was trying to imitate Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. :o Anyway, I think there's 50 bridal attendants in the entire bridal party and 4 ring bearers  She will be back on The View on Monday (honeymoon put off because of sweeps) be prepared for the details waaaaaaaaaaaa :tape:

Awww....Star finally gets to marry her man. It doesn't matter if he's gay as long as she knows the truth I think it's great. I am glad it will finally be over and hopefully she will put her fascination with Everything Al and Star to rest.:tape:

sorry to say but I'm waiting for the divorce...but then again, she's so desperate for a husband that I can see her staying in the marriage even is she comes home and finds that God/Church & Prayer only changed AL for a while. I'm sorry for being like this but really...did ya'll see her and Al all up on the cover of Ebony:rolleyes: The one thing that I do like about Starr is that she doesn't fake the fact that she loves all the celebrity. She said that she had to be with a man that would let her shine and Al was going on and on like a woman- the more you hear from him, the more you are left not wondering:D She said something about having to give in her feminist card, because she has no problem being submissive to her man, who is she fooling, she is wearing the pants in that relationship:D

Can't wait to see the wedding pics all over E!, Extra, the View, the Late SHow, the Late, Late show, People, In Style, US weekly, did i forget something:lol:

Girl these are my exact sentiments. It's just mind boggling how a woman can be so desperate for marriage. I give this marriage 3 years tops:tape:

For her own sake she should not have gone on and on about the Wedding. That draws much more attention to the divorce when that rolls in.

I got an invite saying "From one red carpet queen to another". The thing is, it was Al who sent it.

I am going though, if only to trash it. Hel, say you'll go! We haven't been to a decent tacky wedding since Liza. And Sal, I got Joan and guest on my invite so you can come if you like. It's Star, so a huge buffet is guaranteed!

Joan!!! If you want to go, then we're there. We can party on Star's dime. Or I guess that who's dime is "sponsoring" the reception. I kind of wish something bad happens and the day is ruined, like she vomits all over her dress coming down the aisle, or like she catches him like sucking some guy's dick during the reception.

 Hel, let's bring a few rent boys along and see what happens. Or at least bring Kevin Spacey.....

Also, I hear Debbie Matenopoulos has telephoned several tabloids telling them Osama Bin Laden will be there and to circle the place with a chopper throughout the entire thing, including over the garden party. She's still bitter but I like her style.

We'll bring Cuba Gooding, Jr. in some tight pants. That'll do it.

I like Star Jones. I agree she did go gung-ho over her wedding, but let her have her happiness.

I didn't know Al Reynolds had gay tendencies?

you have seen a pic of him right? :tape:

Anyway, good for Starr...she's getting what she wants. Hopefully, she will be happy but if it turns out to be what we all think...happiness will be like fool's Gold to her...:tears:

and then she will have to go through the embarrassment of a very public divorce..

but maybe they have an understanding and it will last...
