Hopefully, she ups her game in her next match. Dementieva will be fighting hard, after getting trashed by Lindsay today.

It seems it was a tough match against Elena on both ends but I love the result :) Go Serena :worship:

I´m already happy with this result.....nobody gave Serena much of a chance and everybody was talking about Lindsay was a shoo-in....now everybody is soooooo afraid that Serena doesn´t take a set-off of the world no.1, otherwise it´s gonna be ANOTHER dissapointing peformance of the no.1 in a big event.

Go Serena. Loved today's match even though she lost. She did what she needed to do and it's all good :wavey:

Go Serena! Get revenge on Amelie for Venus!

BTW, I'm still really worried about her elbow. :( Hope she doesn't overexert it. I would rather her w/o from the semis than miss the beginning of next year.

good newz... I'm leaving my dad at home!! Everytime I've ever bought him a ticket to come and enjoy some tennis Serena has lost!!!! I took him to see Serena play Kim at the YEC two years ago, I took him to the finals in Los Angeles, and I took him yesterday. Now that I can clearly see the pattern I must leave my dad at home from here on out....

Good luck Serena- I'll be holdin' it down for us Serena fans... you guyz hold it down for me on the boards (that's a tall order- so good luck...)

Serena the true champion of the heart. True grit as ESPN put it. True grit, class and tenacity. Serena will dominate in '05!

Serena. Maybe if she had held on to her 2-0 lead in the second, she wouldn't have injured herself. Hope she recovers in time to prepare for the AO! :D
