Thumbs up to Cassandra Barr!!!

Was very happy to see her make a last minute dash to Manila and has entered Qualifying. Brilliant scheduling decision!

She will pick up 0.75 easily and then should become the 2nd seed in the main draw!

Should make the quarters at least with a reasonable draw but I have probably jinxed her now by saying that!

But yeah really good decision for her to stabilise and move her rank up into the 600's hopefully!

Also very pleasing to see Stosur and Wheeler commit to the $50K in USA, dunno if Wheeler will get there, but glad that Samantha has decided to enter a challenger, its been a while for her and as the 2nd seed it will be good to see how she copes with the pressure of a high seeding.

If this is the Cassie Barr I think it is, I went to school with her:) Didn't realise she still played tennis!

Wonder if she will then come back via the 2x$10K's in India! Got to give her credit for trying!
