I voted for There's Something About Mary even though I liked In & Out as well.
But you should have titled it Best American Comedy Movie. Where are all the Brit coms? LIke others said, all the Monty Python films. Life of Brian is still my favourite, Four Weddings and a Funeral was also great. I loved Shakespeare in Love as well, Much Ado About Nothing, Waking Ned Devine. I'd place all these movies ahead of There's Something About Mary.

From that list, it's "Men In Black" for me (assuming that's Austin Powers 1 not the superior IMHO Austin Powers 2). My favourite comedy film of all though is the 80s classic "The Breakfast Club". Anyone remember it? It starred Molly Ringwald.

' Dr. Strangelove or how I learned stop worrying and loved the bomb' with Peter Sellers. Hilarious!
Of course, not all people are carried away with it. Im pretty sure George Bush Jr. has mistaken this comedy with an instructive manual. ;)
