Elke Clijsters & Myriam Casanova of Switzerland won the doubles final 6-4 1-6 6-3 :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
They beat the 2nd seeds Argeri & Devidze in the final round of this Grade-A tournament!! :D
Clijsters/Casanova have now won 9 consecutive matches in doubles, which means that they won the doubles at the Gerdau Cup & the Banana Bowl, 2 of the most important Junior Tournaments in Latin-America.
Does it influence her WTA rankings? I don't think so

Nope, it doesn't influence Elke's WTA rank, only her doubles junior rank will change.
Congrats Elke and Steve!!! :) :) :)

Elke is a really good doubles player. She's got a good serve and good touch at the net. Maybe she and Els can be the doubles team in Fed Cup?
Congrats to Steve.

First of all, news about Elke. She's entered the top-10 in doubles this week! :D The last Belgian who was ranked in the juniors' top-10 was... her elder sister Kim ;). She's also the No.1 Belgian junior in singles.
Also some good news about Steve Darcis. This Walloon bloke seems to be very promising! He's ranked 14th now in singles AND he's over 1.70m ;)!! Has anyne of you ever read an article on him? (Could you please post that?)
Go Belgian juniors :bounce:
