On the homepage of the Linz-tournament it is said that one of those three may come to Linz. What do you think about this? I think If Venus does well in Zurich she won't come.

I highly doubt that Venus
would come regardless.

Sydney organisers said something similar- Venus or Serena might ask for WC etc. It's just a ploy..

I agree.

However, if either did ask for a WC I'm almost
positive it'd be Serena because she's had to
pull out of Zurich because of the knee and
maybe it may be feeling better and she may
want to play.

Venus picked up Philly and I just
don't see her picking up this event
unless she felt great and really wanted to play.

We'll see but I wouldn't
hold my breathe.

She's either going to play one or the other, but I don't think both.

Philly is the more likely case.

Amelie' coach said that thye would focus on the YEC and the Fedcup, i doubt amelie will want to play linz, she has nothing to gain by it, the no.1 is a little further stretched, she is defending philly and will probably want to stay healthy for YEC. Philly might n=be a good tune up event for her.

Venus who?

I'd be as shocked as I was when she beat Sprem.

Well i can't see vee playing 4 weeks in a row. Thats asking for her to get hurt again. So there is very little chance she will be there.

Venus don't play 3 weeks in a row, you know the effect it has on your body. Wait for Philly please (unless you really want to qualify for the YEC)!
