Thats pretty impressive. Kostanic has been playing well this year. Ana is definitely at least at a top 50 level right now.

good result but i'm pretty sure kostanic didn't give it her all. the games were going so quickly and usually jelena fights pretty hard

whether she gave her all or not, was injured or not, had a bad hair day etc... doesn't change the result and that's what counts.

Probably, but I don't think losing to a (Serbian) Yeah. It's probably balkan thing mixing everything with politics. I guess generations have to change before things will be normal...

Congrats Ana!!

Jelena
There's always going to be rivalries between the ex-Yugo countries since they (mostly) share the same language and have similar histories. Generations won't change that. Have you ever been to an England vs. Scotland match ??? Probably not but it's a good comparison.

Nothing political about it as you naively imply.

I think you should check first what word political really means

I didn't like the patronizing tone of your post although I do admire your apparent obsession with all things related to Serbia-Montenegro. It's rare that a thread about a player from the region doesn't get some kind of comment from you. I tend to disagree with you on practically every one of your posts.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Estonia soon gets a player for you to "support".
